Upon arrival we had a front row (pool side) seat to a pod of dolphins playing in the ocean. We enjoyed multiple whale sightings. The pool was incredible. It doesnt get much better than this. We have lived in Kona for many years. You take it for granted. Being able to spend quality time with out of town family in spectacular home, made it all the more perfect. Condos just do not provide the same experience. You walk into a condo you could be anywhere in the world. There's no real distinguishing qualities. You walk into this home and you know you are in Hawaii! You owe it to yourself to do Hawaii the right way!! On a side note although the pictures are beautiful on this web page, they pale in comparison to the real thing!

We were in Kona for a family reunion and loved this location, right on the ocean. The house was well equipped with all of our basic needs and more. The setting was private, yet close to town. We could snorkel right off the rocks in the back yard. The only reason for rating this a 4 versus a 5 is that the hot tub never worked while we were there and there was a broken door and screen. But, other than that it was wonderful. Would definitely rent this property again.
