Description of the Kalispell vacation home rental
Consider this comfortable, private home on a 6-acre pond with birds and wildlife and yet less than 10 minutes to downtown! Features 2 bedrooms, 2-1/2 baths with a nearby barn and pasture, nice back deck overlooking the water. There is a walking trail around the pond for you to enjoy a walk around the pond. Rails to Trails is a paved bike and walking trail that crosses the entrance of this rural subdivision and runs from Kila to connect to a trail network throughout the valley.

While the Main House sleeps 7 there is also a Hidden Waters Retreat - Studio that can be rented along with the main house. The Studio sleeps 4 and can be viewed at HA#3495744. (Subject to availability)

Our vacation home is located on 5 acres with surrounding acerage of adjacent meadows, pond, creek and mountains. The main house boasts a master bedroom with king bed and full bath, a second bedroom which doubles as a Den with a twin bed and double futon couch/bed, sleeps 3. The second bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and nice large vanity. The living room, dining and kitchen areas can be warmed by the fireplace in the spacious living room. One of the couches in the living room makes out into a comfortable double bed. There is also a half bath and laundry room.

Entertain on the upper deck, complete with outdoor dining and BBQ. Indulge in the scenery, the peace and outdoor amenities! Take in the vibrant summer sunsets or awesome year-round stargazing. This summer play lawn games, bird-watch to your heart’s content or just sit back and relax!
Centrally located, with easy access to nearby lakes, rivers, trails, bike paths, shopping, theaters, dining, and health clubs. 10 minutes to Kalispell, 20 minutes to Flathead Lake at Somers Bay, 25 minutes to Whitefish or Lakeside and to Glacier Park international Airport, 40 minutes to Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort, Whitefish Train Depot or Blacktail Ski Resort, Columbia Falls, or Bigfork and 45 minutes to West Glacier or Glacier National Park.

We want your stay to be the best! Since we also live on site in another unit, if you need anything please just ask and we will do what we can to accommodate you. Hidden Waters is a very peacefull place for some R&R.
Area Information
Kalispell is located in the heart of Flathead Valley, surrounded by the Rocky Mountains with views of Glacier National Park to the north. There are two ski resorts, Blacktail and Whitefish Mountain that are within 45 minutes. There is much shopping right in Kalispell. Several quaint downtowns are close by, each with it's own character and charm. Many Shops and art galleries to visit as well as world class artists studio's. There are performing arts centers in Whitefish and in Bigfork and every year The Event at Rebecca Farms is held just minutes from Hidden Waters. Enjoy the back country wilderness of the Bob Marshall, hunting, fishing, backpacking and thousands of day hikes. If you enjoy mountains and beautiful vista's you have found a slice of heaven ion earth.

Wonderful Christmas Vacation at Hidden Waters

Hidden Waters was a great place to stay and relax. I didn't realize the owners lived downstairs and initially had some concerns, but the house is very well constructed and we did not hear them at all, even when they had a house full of people on Christmas. The photos accurately portray the spacious home and it was clean and well maintained. They had put up a Christmas tree and a few decorations to make it feel more like a home away from home for us and our children. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The home is located right off Highway 2 but secluded enough that you couldn't hear the traffic from the highway. It is close a great location. The wood burning stove was awesome and the sofa sleeper was the most comfortable one I have ever slept on. I would highly recommend this property and would glady stay at Hidden Waters again.

Million Dollar View!

This place was such a great price and so perfect for our little gathering of friends. The view is amazing! I kept calling it our million dollar view, you can see the sunset over the pond every evening, wow! The property was very clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful and had everything we needed. We would absolutely book this place again and highly recommend to anyone needing a place in the Kalispell area!

My family and I had a wonderful time. The chateau was more than what we had expected, quite with an amazing view of nature. A fantastic place for the kids (we have 3, ages 4, 2 and 10mons), plenty of room for them to run around. Itâs a wonderful place to relax, and still within the main shopping area for food. We look forward to staying there again. Thank you Michael and Diane.

Beautiful House in a small piece of Paradise.....

We stayed in this beautiful house for 3 days and we loved it. Diane was so kind to come and explain us the features of the house, about the pond and some other activities in the area during the days we were there. We were 2 families, 5 adults and 5 kids and there was plenty of room in the house. (rented the main house and studio together) The house has a beautiful decoration with a mixture of old and new items. It did exceed our expectations in terms of beauty and location. The view of the pond from the Main Bedroom and the Living Room was exceptional. Very clean and organized, this made our stay really comfortable. The comments from our kids were âDad, can we come here every summer?..... We love this house...." We will definitely try to come back and highly recommend the property.

First time renting a house for vacation. Great start to a great vacation! Chose the location for proximity to airport, able to accomodate (6), and had additional features (secluded, nature access, etc.). Owners were very accomodating and even purchased additional kitchen utensiles for our use. Owners are on property, but did not even know they were there. Hummingbirds, deer, squirrels, birds all on property. Trail around pond was nice and allowed for some exercise. Home is beautiful and comfortable. Had (4) teenagers and (2) adults. Was difficult to leave. Relaxing environment, view of mountains, close to town for groceries. Visited nearby Jewel basin for hiking and Whitefish for Big Mountain hiking/alpine slide. Easy access to these and other activities. Everyone loved it! Thanks to Diana and Michael.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can we rent the Studio along with the Main House if we have more that 7 in our party?
A: Yes! The Studio sleeps four in a queen bed and a full bed. It has its own full bath and kitchenette. There is a sink, mini-fridge, microwave oven and coffee pot with dishes, cups, bowls, silverware and utensils. The door between the Studio and Main House is an insulated steel door that is fully weatherstripped so sound does not travel easily between them. Also there is only about 5' of wall in common between the two so each is quite private from the other. The Studio also has its own separate entrance at the north end of the house.
