Description of the Kaluakoi vacation condo rental

Enjoy the cross breezes of our corner, ground floor unit located in a Polynesian-style, two-story building. Every room and lanai boast expansive views of the ocean and resort landscape. (Please note: As of 4/5/08 the Kaluakoi Golf Course has been closed.)

The modern, full kitchen comes equipped with Cuisinart cookware and quality dishes and bar ware. Furnished with 300+ thread count linens, towels, beach chairs and mats... luxury and comfort is our top priority. Relax in island-style furnishings that capture the essence of the natural beauty of Molokai. Full size appliances include new dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer.

Take the 5 minute walk to Papohaku Beach, Hawaii's longest beach, where your footsteps will be the only mark in the sand. Lounge by the seaside pool with views of Diamond Head and breaching whales. All this, just a short walk from the condo.

Area Information

Molokai is the last of the authentic Hawaiian Isles. There are no stoplights and buildings are no taller than a coconut palm... by ordinance! It is unspoiled and undeveloped so if you are looking for a relaxing getaway, Molokai is your destination. The beaches are empty as are the roads. The west end of Molokai is spacious with rolling hills and chains of beaches to explore. Papohaku Beach is mostly deserted and is 3 miles long. The serenade of the birds will wake you each morning and the crashing of the surf will lull you to sleep. This is truly paradise.

Loved it!

We are reluctantly leaving this bit of paradise you and Tom so graciously shared with us.� We have so loved the condo, felt right at home right from the beginning and enjoyed Dixie Maru two out of the 4 full days we were here.� We took your recommendations and went to the eastern tip--Purdy's, the overlook---and even to the bakery at 5:40 am this morning for fresh rolls and coffee before going up to the overlook to catch the sunrise.� The drive out east WAS positively spiritual....we had dinner at the bar at the Molokai Lodge twice and we grilled steaks here last night...We didn't "do" a lot, yet each day felt rich, full, and completely satisfying...we would love to come back.� And we thought the condo was wonderful--Paul is saying right now to me, "tell her she had the most excellent bed and pillows". This is one of the most wonderful islands, places, I have ever been, subtly unique and totally absorbing....
