Description of the Kamuela vacation home rental
Owned by the Kamaaina Black family for over 50 years, this comfortable home has been remodeled and upgraded, but still retains the charm of old Hawaii. A large lanai runs along the entire length of the ocean-side of the house, facing a lawn sloping down to sand and tide pools. The downstairs living room boasts ocean views, as does the fully-furnished and updated kitchen. A full bath off the living room has its own door to the outside. The second floor features an oceanview deck, two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, with a window from the master shower looking out to the sea. Tropical landscaping, including over 35 coconut trees, enhance this property with its separate BBQ area for dining and watching sunsets. Guests enjoy snorkeling off the “big rock,” where turtles frequently come to call, and watching the whales which are easy to spot in winter months. The Treehouse is located on the same property as the Beach Banyan and may be rented together to accommodate extended families.
