The house Ana is very near the centre, but not crowded out by other houses, is this two floor detached corner property.

The illuminated garden, wafted by the scent of various grasses, lavender and rosemary, just begs to be used, day or night. Inside, this light and airy house is rustic with classically functional furniture.

Front door: Bathroom, WC etc and washing machine. Large kitchen/diner with oven, 4 ring hob, fridge, double sink unit and tables and chairs. Living room with garden access.

Stairs to first floor corridor off which one double aspect double bedded room, shower room, WC etc and one twin bedded room with extra bed.

Covered parking just outside the property.

Area Description

Kanfanar is a peaceful little town - all open-plan greenery and space - complete with delightful church and steeple.
The majestic Limski Canal and fairy-tale Rovinj are 22 kilometres away. But most essential shops will be found, within easy walking distance, in Kanfanar itself. In fact Kanfanar is packed full of interesting churches to explore. The more notable are the parish church of St Silvester built in 1696, St Valentines church from the 18th centuty and a little outside the town, the pre-Romanesque church of St Agatha with its 10th century frescoes, the oldest in Istria.

Outside the town walls there are gentle walks through an unspoilt countryside brimming with orchards, vineyards, olive groves and cultivated fields - colours that combine various shades of green with the rich dark orange of the soil.

If a visitor were to ask the people from Kanfanar their favourite place for excursions, surely they would suggest Dvigrad. Dvigrad is an abandoned medieval town west from Kanfanar.
Second suggestion would, undoubtedly be Kašteljir where visitors can see a cave and several small springs.

Attractions to visitors are also Draga and the Lim Bay with their restaurants and walks which show their beauty especially in Autumn with a range of warm colours while beautiful sights can be seen from the high ground of St. Martin and the Juralski brig
