Relax in comfort in our newly renovated plantation home. The original owners built the home in 1928 and retained it until 2004 when it was purchased by us. We have made an effort to maintain the charm and character of the home. Several original pieces of furniture remain, such as the cedar chest at the foot of the king bed in the master bedroom and the buffet piece in the dining room. You will see hand-made doilies and afghans throughout the home. We updated the kitchen appointments and added a second bathroom. When carpet was removed from the old bathroom, a beautiful mosaic tile surface was uncovered like buried treasure. The decision to restore it to its original beauty was immediate. We re-porcelained the original over-sized tub in the old bath and the kitchen sink with porcelain drain board. There are two showers in addition to the tub, as well as an outside shower for rinsing sand off after a day at the beach.
From the kitchen window and the rear lanai, there is a peek-a-boo view of the white water at nearby Fuji Beach. When stepping outside, you will know how close you are by the sound of the ocean. A mere 200 steps puts you on the beach. Sleeping Giant is the view from the front of the home.
The rear lanai is ideal for outdoor dining and relaxing.
We have chosen exotic plants unique to the Hawaiian Islands. There are fruit trees such as lemon, fig, guava, mango, and banana. Please enjoy whatever fruit is in season during your stay but eat everything you pick. You will not be able to take them with you back to the mainland.

RATES & POLICIES
Rates & Policies: Minimum stay is 3 nights. For stays less than one week, the daily rate is $240.00. The weekly rate is $1,440.00. The monthly rate is $5,500.00. Hawaii State tax of 11.42% is added to the rent.
Deposit: A deposit of $300.00 is required to confirm your reservation. The deposit is separate from rent and will be refunded following your stay minus the cost for cleaning or any damage other than normal wear and tear. Rent is due in full 30 days before arrival.
Note: Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
Cancellation Policy: If your reservation is canceled at least 60 days prior to the arrival date, your deposit will be refunded minus a service fee of $100.00. Full payment is due 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable unless we can re-book the property.
This is a non-smoking property. Please respect this requirement or we will reluctantly have to retain your full deposit.
DISCLAIMER: We make every effort to ensure that all equipment is in working order and that the surrounding environment is as pleasing as possible. In the event of an equipment breakdown, we will strive to repair it as soon as possible after being notified of a problem. We cannot guarantee that televisions, appliances, etc. will not break down during your stay (especially with the unrelenting salt air) and therefore, no refunds or adjustments can be made for mechanical failure. We cannot take responsibility for any other unexpected situations beyond our control such as power outages, insects, roosters, weather, nearby construction and the like. The Rental was beyond our expectations. The attention to detail by the owners, and the antisipation of our every need, down to a sewing kit. Which by the way I needed twice !!
