The cottage gives you a feel of living in a castle but with plush interiors. Spiral stair-case connects the two levels of the cottage. The Cottage has a view of Four cities.
The 3rd room is slightly away from the main complex and as good as a cottage on it's own with it's own private kitchen too. All rooms at Hawkdale cottage have attached bathrooms. The cottage has a common kitchen, dinning & living room.

Here's a walk that would change you completely, at the Hawkdale Cottage. The hearts of the locals would immediately touch you, the soft dialect, the light step, beaming smile and always ready to help attitude. Rise up in the morning with calls from the birds, whistling of the trees and caretakers summons for tea, laze out in the veranda and dive into the fragrance and beauty of the place.

Go hiking , remember to wear comfortable shoes, when you reach the top of the hill you can feast on the panoramic view. Such a sense of achievement and contenment you would feel. You would rejuvenate, your pain and problems would all melt away.
The living cum dining room would be waiting for you with sumptous meals at your timings and to your choice of food. If you at times feel like knowing what is happening in your world, then the T.V set is available to update you, added to that there is a fire place too.

In the evening if you feel like doing a little shopping then the kasauli market is available, its less than half an hour's drive. The cottage would definitely stamp your memory more deeply than even photographing......

You could go to The Chail Palace in Chail for a lunch or an evening tea/coffee or soup. It's just One hour a half hours drive.

Lawrence School Sanawar is a boarding school built during the British times and since, has been catering to the children of high & mighties. Actors Sunjay Dutt and Pooja Bedi are also it's produce.
