Description of the Kazanlak vacation cottage rental
This village house has been fully renovated from a little old mud brick cottage into a 3 bedroom property.
The main house has a fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle and all cups, plates, glasses, cutlery etc. There is a table that seats 6. Downstairs there is also a toilet and a cosy living room with wood burning stove and TV and DVD player (no satellite TV). There are lovely restored wooden ceilings and the floor is tiled through out.
The living room has a sofa bed that will comfortably sleep 2 adults. There is only a toilet room downstairs though, no actual bathroom.
Upstairs there are two good sized rooms each with 2 single beds that can be made into a double and there is a large shower room with shower cubicle, toilet and sink. A hairdryer is provided.
There is then an additional building close to the main house with a corridor leading to a large bedroom with open fire and there is a massive shower room with shower cubicle, toilet and sink. This separate annex sleeps two. A kettle and tea and coffee is provided as well as hair dryer.
Outside there is a patio area with an open fire/BBQ and an external sink.
There is a small garden which will in time be grassed and has many vines.
Area Description
The village is a typical Bulgarian farming village with cows and sheep and goats wandering around. There are a few shops and a restaurant.
Just 5 minutes away is the mineral spa resort of Yagoda with outdoor swimming pools and massage facilities. About 20 minutes away there is a water park with several pools and slides.
The village is in the Valley of the Thracian Kings where there are several ancient burial mounds you can explore and it is also the Valley of the Roses as it is famous for rose oil production.
