Description of the Kelowna vacation cottage rental

Luxury cottage with a dock & boat slip. It comes with a row boat for your enjoyment, or bring your own boat. Lakefront with crystal clear water for swimming. Okanagan living at it's finest with every detail in this two bedroom cottage. The kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Satellite TV and wireless internet. The master bedroom, located in the loft, includes an ensuite featuring an elegant tub with an expansive view of Okanagan Lake. From vaulted ceilings to decor lighting to french doors, this cottage offers high-end lakefront vacations. Two restaurants nearby, fine dining at Lake Okanagan Resort and great mexican food at La Casa.
It sleeps up to 7 guests comfortably, with a queen in the master bedroom, a futon in the livingroom and bunk beds in the second bedroom.

Area Information

Kelowna is the largest city in the Okanagan Valley boasting all the amenities of a major city - fine dining, unique shops and a vibrant cultural life - yet orchards and vineyards thrive within a 10-minute drive of the downtown core. Spectacular vistas await those ready to explore; a delightful day can be spent sampling the award-winning wares of our numerous internationally-acclaimed wineries, or you may wish to visit one of several championship golf courses in the area.
Situated on the western shore of Okanagan Lake mid-way between Westbank in the south and Vernon in the north. The lake offers wonderful opportunities for boating, swimming or fishing. The nearby mountains attract hikers, skiers and outdoor enthusiasts of all descriptions. There are three major ski hills within a one-hour drive.

Was fine, a bit remote.

The cottage is right on the lake, and will sleep a number of people. It is much more remote than I had believed, taking a full 25 minutes of two lane twisted narrow road driving, covered in deer. So, beautiful, and fun to drive, but you would not want to be visiting the wineries and driving back to the cottage! Other than that, lovely spot. Nice and quiet and quite deserted.

Nice place, water was nice, biggest downfall was lack of A/C in the cabin, and the lack of private master bedroom was a bit of a downer. some of the other renters were taking part in some really dumb activities like shooting off fireworks towards the cabins in the middle of the night, with a province wide fireban in place because it was sooo dry. Overall we had a good time and would consider going back.

20 min from Kelowna ... we had such a great time at the the cottage ... the place is quiet, clean and the view from the balconies is beautiful ... I do recommend the place ... just one suggestion, the bbq area downstairs could be a bit better, nicer chairs, find the way to make more space .. that would be a big plus ;)

Accommodation is great, very relaxing setting. Downside limited kitchen and a 25 minute drive to Kelowna, otherwise a great place for boating and swimming

"A cabin oasis!"

Cabin #12 at Secret Cove is super charming. Our cabin was clean and very tastefully decorated with all the amenities that you would ever need. A flat screen cable TV with a DVD player, high speed internet, washer and dryer, full kitchen and last but not least, a lovely stone deck with a BBQ on one level and then down more steps to a fire-pit & patio table with deck chairs then just few more steps to the lakes edge and dock where you can dock your boat. This place is great for families with children of all ages! P.S. Patricia Livingstone was very helpful, kind and easy to get a hold of. Thanks again!
