Description of the Kennebunk vacation cottage rental

A cozy, comfortable, un-winterized traditional Maine cottage with the ocean literally in the backyard. In the heart of a summer residential community, our family summer home is next door to a full children's recreational swimming, sailing, tennis, golf, marine biology and arts program sponsored by the Kennebunk Beach Improvement Association. Additional activities are focused outdoors with a child-safe tidal cove for swimming as the water comes in over the warm clam flats, a gorgeous public beach with town lifeguards and bathroom facilities, walks to quiet estuaries and neighboring public beaches, shopping in nearby Kennebunk Lower Village and Kennebunkport, close to amusements and supermarkets when needed. This is not an investment property; it's our family home for rent starting early June through Labor Day.

Indoors, the cottage features four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, modern appliances, 72-channel cable service downstairs with DVD player, all linens furnished, rent includes all utilities and taxes, space for parking two cars. Outside, a porch surrounds three sides of the house, an outdoor wash off shower, double kayak with paddles and PFDs, lawn furniture and gas grille.
