Ahhhhhh . . . . Relaxed

June 1, 2013

Great property, clean, comfortable, fabulous view! The pool area reminds me of a European courtyard. I have already recommended this place to friends!. Roger is a on-property, yet invisible, owner. My favorite kind - there if I need him, but otherwise, not there. And the Bay cooperated with a fabulous sunset on my right and a vibrant thunderstorm on the left - all at the same time.

Great family stay

July 29, 2011

Roger, who lives in the main home, and his friends were all very accomidating, The beds are very comfortable and the guest house is clean, great view and very calming. We didn't get to take advantage of the pool except one evening, but it was very inviting and a great swim. Look forward to staying here again.

Bad Experience

July 23, 2008

Plans had changed for our daughter's lacrosse tournament location from Kent Island to Annapolis so we inquired about a refund. Owner sent note informing he would refund all but deposit. We told him we did not want to lose the $500 deposit and would stay. Wife requested that house was clean when we arrive and we received the most insulting note from the owner. He told us he would not allow us to stay at his house and should go stay at a cheap hotel. He did refund all our money. This was done less than two weeks before we were to arrive leaving us to scramble for another room. Never have I seen such a nasty note from someone just because my wife asked that the room be clean. It should be pointed out that the web site showed pictures of the kitchen with trash having not been emptied thus the reason for her concern.

It has been about a week since we left your wonderful home and I sit here with a bit of a heavy heart recalling all of the fond memories. We truly had a wonderful time that will be forever etched in our minds. ....... This vacation gave us a chance to unwind in a beautiful place and also spend some time with close friends and Morgan that cannot always be done on traditional vacations.

I am so grateful that Joe found your home on the Internet, which can be a scary prospect sometimes since you are never really sure what to expect. Your home and the hospitality you and Wade shared with us was beyond compare.

We hope to be back again next summer.....

All the best,

Ann and Joe
