Great vacation launch pad

July 26, 2012

First trip to the keys for family of 6, kids 6-16. This house was at LEAST as nice as advertised. Clean, modern. Big, fluffy beds had us all sleeping solidly after playing outside all day. This was our first "family" vacation, and the house was a perfect base camp for exploring the Keys. The big kitchen with plenty of serviceware made eating-in easy. Quiet neighborhood. Relaxing suburban feel, but easy access to nearby stores when you needed food, swimmies, souveniers, whatever. Owner of the house was happy to answer questions, give useful local advice. T. Storm Debby nixed our snorkeling, so we will HAVE to go back to Marathon again. If Kathi still has this house, we WILL be staying here again.

What a relaxing vacation, we were (six) and we had the prefect set- up at Casa Lago Mar home. Spacious rooms, and a dock for my kids and dad to fish right off from. If you are looking for quite this is the place for you.
