Description of the Key Largo vacation cottage rental
The minimum stay is a week, [see rates section listed above] plus 12.5% tax]
The preferred stay is a month. [plus 12.5% tax]
Both include the cleaning fee of $65.
We are an hour and 1/2 south of Miami International airport at the end of Sampson Rd, a few feet N. of the Tradewinds Shopping Center stop Light on the Overseas Highway / US 1 [oceanside]
Enjoy your own Tiki covered dock with table, chairs, bench, dockage for up to a 25' boat, and gas grill in your own backyard.
Easy access to the Atlantic via Sound Creek, and to the Gulf via Adams Cut.
The home has a living room, fully equipped kitchen with stove top, large counter top toaster/ convection oven, toaster, coffee maker, full bath, and bedroom with queen bed. On the lanai is a double bed sized futon [sleeps 2], dining area and lounging area. There is generous storage throughout.
Linens,towels, hair dryer, WiFi, phone, cable TV, DVD player, CD player,beach bag, and small cooler are provided.
Heated pool, children's playground,volleyball court, shuffleboard, and seasonal activities on site.
This is located in gated Key Largo Kampground and Marina, so you must arrive before 10 PM.Once you are here, you can rent a gate key from the office so you can come and go after hours- refundable upon return.

Kayak from your dock or the park's beach.- we adjoin Pennekamp kayak trails... the are several businesses that rent canoes and kayaks- some deliver.
Bicycle- there are several bike rental places in Key Largo
Dive and snorkel our famous reef... many companies in the area provide this service
Fish from the Bay or Ocean.
Swim with the dolphins, para sail, feed the Tarpon.
Rent a motorcycle and ride to Key West
Sight see- take a trip to Bahia Honda State Park and Key West.
See the Key Deer.
Enjoy fresh seafood from our many dining facilities or your own catch.
Local musicians provide great entertainment, or join an open mic.

Perfection in paradise aided by an angel

We enjoyed February & March in Paradise. #1In renting anyplace - is the cooperativeness & friendliness of the person you are renting from! Penny excels in all areas.The place made living ..a dream. Not a day would pass that we didn't sit under the wonderful tiki hut,(right outside our door). "Our neighbors" introduced themselves & we joined them at a pot luck in the community center. Also we enjoyed bingo nights& games where all took part. The beach was very close(kayaks could even be delivered there for your use or a heated pool was just as close in the opposite direction.The lanai was absolutely wonderful for those bug - free, hot nights.The comfort of being in a gated community can't be beat.Penny had everything any renter could need or want! With all of the wonderful eating places so close we were able to try everything from crab bisque to shark & yellow tail! The Pilot House proved to be a favorite. The Hiddenout , Buzzards Roost,Mrs.Mac's & Dillon's'(a bit farther) all are great too. If you like watching sunsets bay side is it.There is a nice place, tucked behind the Salvation army. Extremely good service,lovely sunset & good food. At Senor Frijole's a building is in the way of a good view but the food is very good. "Woofstock" at Founders Park was a great time as well as the Sea World with all of the dolphins & parrots too. Off the same hwy. is a bird refuge. Right near the Kampground is John Penncamp Park,they have so much to do you should be sure to ck. it out. We loved this paradise for 2 months & wanted to stay an extra month but sadly it had already been rented.....PERHAPS ANOTHER YEAR!!!!!

Just a bit of Paradise
November 30, 2012
Spent 5 days at this location, the property is wonderful and is so close to all amenities. There is a large shopping centre within walking distance. Key Largo is full of activities that are very close to the property.The property is nestled on beautiful clear water right at the back door. Would return tomorrow if I could but definetely have it on my radar for next year. The owner is so pleasant and helpful it made for a wonderful time
