Description of the Key Largo vacation home rental
This is a great family vacation home. Perfect for large families with children, Family Reunions, even small intimate weddings! We also have a salt water lagoon and a sandy beach for your enjoyment. Watch the dolphins swim, feed the manatees in our lagoon, fish off our dock, swim, snorkel or enjoy water sports in the bay.
We are located just minutes from John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park (MM102.5). There you can go on glass bottom boat tours, scuba or snorkel. Interested in swimming with Dolphins? Our home is located minutes from Dolphin Cove, Dolphin Plus and Island Dolphin Care. We are also close to the water park at Jacob's Aquatics Center (MM99.6 Oceanside) which is a fantastic place for kids. They have a mockup pirate ship, splash pool and olympic size swimming pool with two diving boards. Want to feed the fish? You can feed large tarpon at Robbie 's Marina just a short drive to the South.

The property is everything we could have dreamed of and more! Snorkeling, swimming, grilling, hammock napping, beach sunning, and shuffleboard. Beautiful sunsets every night. The homeowner was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. This is going to be a yearly trip for sure!!

A Fantastic Home!

My (now) husband and I rented this home for a week in February of 2013 for our wedding! The owners were incredible helpful throughout the process and even allowed us to rent wend to wend instead of the standard sat- sat rental, which allowed us plenty of time to set up for and clean up after the wedding. We had the event catered (key largo conch house) and had 65 guests. We never felt crowded or had issues with parking and heard nothing but compliments from all of our guests. The rest of the week we were able to lounge around the house, enjoying the beautiful views and we even caught a couple fish off the pier! It was cold though and the pool just seemed to refuse to heat up for us, it takes longer than you would think. Besides that though, the home was just perfect and we could not have asked for more for our venue!

Perfect Week!
January 15, 2013
Two families met for a fantastic week from Christmas day to New Year's Day. We had a blast! We rented 2 kayaks and a paddle board for the week at the house. We also went snorkeling at Grecian Reef, diving, kayaking to Indian Key from Robbie's Marina, chartered a boat for fishing and took a sunset sail on New Year's Eve. The rest of the time we spent having fun and relaxing at the Playhouse. We didn't even go out to eat. Nobody wanted to leave. We also had a lovely evening under the tiki hut singing with a ukelele and watching the neighbors set off fireworks. We also saw dolphins from the dock and paddled near them when kayaking about 1/2 from the house. What a memorable, relaxing and fun week! We would love to return. Thanks Ron and Debbie!

Two families recently shared this bayfront home in Key Largo. The home was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for gathering everyone together. The best part was outside with the covered bayside seating with a hammock. We spent alot of time here and parked our rental boat at the dock. Children and adults enjoyed shuffleboard and ping pong. A most relaxing vacation with beautiful sunsets over the crystal blue water. Contracting, payment and instructions were easily handled by email and postal service. Debbie responded promptly to our questions making the rental experience simple and hassle free. I would recommend this rental to anyone who needs space for a large group in a beautiful setting. Memories of a Lifetime!

We celebrated our parent's 40th Wedding Anniversary by spending a week here. We were minutes from Pennekamp State Park where we snorkeled and minutes from the marina where we went deep sea fishing. We grilled out almost every night while we enjoyed the exquisite sunset. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook and bake. We were within walking distance of one of the greatest Key Lime shops in the Keys-we had key lime pie everyday! My son and his uncles loved to swim in the lagoon, and the shuffleboard was great fun too. There was something for everyone. My kids want to know when we can go back.

My familly wanted to stay in a place where the rest of our familly could come and visit and vacation together with enough space. The Key Largo playhouse was exactly the place we needed, set up to accomodate a large group of people, and large enough to find space to be quiet and away from the games. We could organize games of soccer and kick ball on the lawn, and the little ones played on the beach. My son had his first fishing experience of the dock(caught a little fish after some patience) and neighbours said they had caught small sharks before. We could easily tie up 3 boats and tubed and skied every day. The property is private and we found everything we needed was there. We are definately planing on a return visit in the future so we can have another fun familly reunion, thanks you guys.

The property was wonderful. My family enjoyed fishing from the dock. The home was well kept and there was plenty to entertain us. For myself, I enjoyed reading under the pavillion and watching my grandson's fish. Restaurants were conviently located near by. We went to the places suggested in the guest book and was not disappointed.
