WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING about staying at our vacation places:
Shelley from Virginia:
The Shiloh’s are a warm and welcoming couple. The property is very well kept and extremely clean, probably one of the cleanest places I have stayed while traveling. The neighborhood is safe, quite and relaxing. They had all the tourist info you could need and also gave us tips on local spots. Seeing the manatees is a must it was such a treat. The property is located near lots of things to keep you busy or you can lounge on the spacious deck over the canal. All you really need to bring with you is your bathing suit and toothbrush they have beach chairs, fishing poles, bicycles, fun doodles, kayaks etc.
We (family of four) had a fantastic time on the houseboat - swam with the manatees (the kids had names for them all), kayaked through the canals and into the bay. Chanoch and Giana were wonderful hosts and looked after us very well with lots of information about what to do and where to go locally. The houseboat was clean, comfortable and in good shape. We highly recommend staying on the houseboat for a unique Florida Keys holiday experience.
We are within 2 miles from John Pennecamp Coral Reef State Park, for kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, diving.
There are a few Dolphin Swim Facilities right in our area. Often, in the afternoon, you can see wild dolphin & manatee in our bay.
Community Pool, Boat rental & diving - snorkeling Centers, Public library with internet,
Great Kayaking through the creeks and mangroves of the Everglades,
Great food & happy hours, Deep sea fishing trips, trips to the Coral reefs,
medical facilities and health food store, coffee house, happy hour and gourmet restaurants.
AND the tropical island kind of life!

The canal is a DEAD END. NO water flow. Canal smelly, we were not informed that it is impossible to get a 19ft boat in or out of the canal. The mobile home was clean, and we brought to little dogs. We were very disappointed that we could not have our boat right at the dock. there are no manatees at this property they could not get through the very shallow, narrow opening.

Family of 3, with a 3 years old child, we had a wonderful time here! Owners are really nice!! The house is colorful, as simple and practical as we wished, and the garden so beautifully exotic! We really enjoyed the place. Not so lucky with the weather... but still, great holidays!!

We found this to be a perfect spot. Close to main land and only a couple hours from Key West. Our host Chanoch became like family. He answered all our questions and helped in any way he could.
Our stay was PERFECT on the Houseboat! It was quiet, relaxing and such a great experience with lots of nice memories! Giana and Chanoch made such an effort to make us feel home! They are friendly and reaaalllyy helpful! We were happy to get to know them! They know everything about the neighbourhood and gave us every information about where to go and enjoy our stay there! There are a lot of things to do, 1 week was not enough to explore everything so more than 1 week staying there is highly recommended!! I feel I can write here a long story but there are no words how much we enjoyed being there! Szilvia
My friend and I had a great time on the boat! It was a fantastic location - and we loved that the beach was just a quick kayak trip or swim away! Our host offered some great suggestions of area restaurants and day trips, and were all-around very nice people. Kate
My husband and I loved every moment of our houseboat experience. The houseboat was immaculate! There are not enough words for our host, Chanoch. He is pleasant and helpful. You will not find a nicer or happier host anywhere! Paula and Frank
We loved staying on the houseboat. The Shiloh's were very gracious hosts, giving recommendations for local attractions, taking us out on their boat and making us and our children feel very welcome. We especially loved the manatees (of course!) and taking the kayak to the private beach. There is also a very nice playground and coffee/ice cream shop a short walk away. Nicole & family!

A NOTE TO ALL VACATION RENTERS:) Thank you for being great guests and also enriching our lives.
We provide much information on the site- photos, descriptions, link to our blog, please read. Feel free to ask questions of what to do, or what you are looking for in a vacation rental.
We have consistantly had well informed- knowing what they might want in a vacation rental, and asking us and reading about our place; and happy campers ready for a wonderful fun/restful/beautiful time in the Florida Keys!
I am happy to say, that for the past 18 years that I have hosted vacationers in my Brooklyn home and now here in Key Largo, this system of communication has worked. So many of you have brought joy into my life! This is my testimonial to all of you coming to vacation with us!
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at Vacahaven. There was great communication prior and during our stay. Our hosts are very pleasant. The property is maintained well and comfortable. It has everything you need. I loved lounging on the screened porch and dock. It's close to everything too. I would suggest staying here if your going to the keys. You won't be dissapointed.

Your special touches and help were much appreciated! We are planning our next trip soon! Thanks again for the kayak tour!
I cannot thank you enough. We had a fabulous visit and look forward to returning every year until we can retire somewhere in the keys. While we did not catch our limit in lobster (we only had snorkels, yuck!), we were able to share new adventures and teach our children wonderful facts about the area. Thank you for opening up your home, it was quite pleasant!
Hopefully, we will make plans to return next year! Except this time, make the stay a bit longer!
We totally enjoyed our stay at Eagle Dr. Great hosts, Great weather, beautiful sunsets, Kayaking, snorkling..so many things close by. The morning we went to visit the manatees was a new and awsume experience for us. I can't wait to visit again.Cindy
Thanks for allowing us to be your guests at Eagle Drive!
