Our Key Largo Paradise is the ultimate destination for large families or groups, who seek privacy, yet want to be close to activities and action. Nestled on a quite canal just off the Atlantic inlet on mile marker 100 in Key Largo, Florida Keys, it is exactly 1 hour drive south of Miami airport, and an hour 30 minutes from either Key West or Fort Lauderdale.
If you rent or own a boat, you can use the 60 feet of dockspace and dock at this home and drive out in the morning to go fishing or snorkeling; John Pennekamp National Park with one of the most beautiful reefs on the Atlantic coast (Molassis Reef) is next to the property, and marinas, restaurants and bars are walking distance. World famous Tikibar at Islamorada is a 15 minute drive away, and an opportunity to swim with dolphins is one of the most popular attractions in the Keys right nearby this home. At Pennekamp you can also rent a boat, use the public boat ramp to launch your own boat, or do professional snorkel and diving trips.

The outside patio is surrounded by lush landscaping and palm trees, offering privacy and shade. A heated whirl pool overflows into the oversized pool, a hammock offers lazy comfort and patio lounge chairs are lined up luxury resort style on top of the custom built full marble patio The home offers 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with 2 kitchens on 2 levels, separated and accessible through different front doors, making the lower level an ideal in-law suite. Two bedrooms downstairs feature two twin beds each, which can be converted into one king upon request. The living room sofa converts into a full size bed, and the suite gives a total of 6 people room to sleep while utilizing their own kitchen with breakfast bar.
The upper level features a large terrace with luxurious Nikki Beach style rattan patio furnishings, a gas grill and a bar with a reach through window to the kitchen. A dining room table offers seating for 8, and the kitchen bar has 4 additional stools (total seating 12). The kitchen is nicely appointed with stainless steel name brand appliances, toaster, coffee maker and a Key West industrial style blender for island cocktails. One bedroom offers two twins that convert into one king, a kids room has a bunk bed with a twin on top, a full on bottom and additional twin bed, and the master suite has a king size bed. Altogether 7 people find comfortable sleeping quarters on this level, without adding additional beds in the sizeable living room.

Like all our homes the Key Largo Retreat has WiFi throughout the house, a iPod adaptive sound system, and several TVs with DVD players for your entertainment. There is a laundry room with full size washer and dryers, plus an iron board. The house is non smoking and we may accept small pets - please inquire!
