Tropical Oasis a true delight!

I can't say enough about the owners Deborah and Felippe! From the beginning Deborah was quick to return emails and calls, very organized, and accommodating. Everything went very smoothly. When we were late to meet them at the property due to delayed flights, they were understanding and always pleasant, and we were welcomed with a homemade cake! The home is immaculate, charmingly decorated and comfortable. Amenities were as advertised. The community beach is pleasant, and we met 3 manatees in the canal! The location is close to John Pennecamp Park and other snorkeling and scuba parks. We had a great time, and look forward to returning--not only to rent the property, but to see Deborah and Felippe!

Deborah and Felipe’s second home proved to be a very comfortable place to relax, entertain and enjoy life. It was central to shopping, restaurants, cultural and sport activities. A beach area and sunset wharf were nearby. The tile floors were easy to keep clean. Plenty of towels, bedding and storage areas were readily available. The kitchen and dining area were well stocked with dishes, cooking, baking and serving items. The bar area was very unique and useful with a fridge, sink and plenty of counter space to spread out maps and papers. Deborah’s comfortable furniture and creative décor in the living room were a highlight. The lanai, back porch, upper deck and yard with beautifully tended gardens and magical lighting were used every day as a gathering place as well as an escape into a fantasyland. Manatees, various fish and birds visited us on a regular basis. Deborah was prompt in her reply to questions by phone and email. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to others seeking a “tropical oasis”.
We are happy to have had you both as our guests and to know that you enjoyed the outside as much as the inside of our private retreat. Lyndi, I especially enjoyed receiving your regular e mail updates of the newest flowers blooming in our gardens. Sorry that the internet was a bit unpredictable but have used that as the opportunity to have the cable company come in and rewire all connections. Our neighbors all commented on what lovely people you both were and I understand that you have formed quite a bridge group there at the local library across the street. We welcome the opportunity to have you as our guests again anytime in the future.

Christmas in the Keys

We rented this property from Dec 15 2012 - Jan 13 2013. Hosts Deborah and Felipe took the the time to drive from Miami to greet us personally and show us their property. All communications and financial arrangements were handled in a professional and businesslike manner. They provided a booklet answering questions pertaining to the property and local area information. There is a fully equipped kitchen and bar area. We were able to cook a complete Christmas dinner and dined outside on the covered porch! There are various seating areas outside with lighting for evening ambiance. We enjoyed making use of the stone BBQ and water fountain. We were advised we might see manatee at the dock and we certainly did - enjoying our interaction with them. The property is conveniently located with easy access to the highway to Miami and Key West. All amenities are located nearby with many restaurants to choose from. Fresh fruit and vegetables, fish market and mall including Publix in close proximity. Local attractions including John Pennecamp Park, Bird Sanctuary, Swimming with Dolphins are all close by. It is very tastefully decorated in a manner reflecting the Keys lifestyle. Beds were very comfortable with extra bedding and towels provided. My husband used the outside shower every day we were there. This was a very positive experience and we would not hesitate to rent again if we were back in Key Largo.

Our stay for the month of February 2012 was great, relaxing, comfortable and carefree. The location is close to everything...groceries, market( fresh vegetables and seafood), beach , fishing, walking, shopping and plent of good restaurants. There are all the comforts of home. We felt very safe in the friendly neighborhood. Deborah was great, friendly and always available to help.
