My husband and I had an awesome stay at this studio in Key West. It was sublime to open the sliders and hear the ocean all night. To wake to the early morning sky and see the clouds peel away, revealing beautiful sand and water. Duval is an easy walk and/or bike ride. We went all around Key West and felt great coming back to the studio rather than a hotel. Mixing margaritas, reading a book while looking out the window before dinner was much better than hearing other guests in the halls. It felt like we were staying at a friend's house. Everything you needed was there. It was clean and well maintained. This is not an opulent space, the bathroom and shower are small, but big enough to do what you need to do. It is extremely comfortable with a clever use of space. The views are showstopping and you will be surrounded by peace. Spend the money and rent the bikes from the owner, it's better than hassling with the bike vendors. The owner left laminated maps of Key West with recommended restaurants including coffees, good deals, etc. We checked out one of them--an authentic cuban restaurant, and we weren't disappointed. The owner was not onsite at the time we were there, but she checked in with us on our first night to make sure we had everything we needeed. We left a bottle of wine for the next guests, hoping they would do the same before they left and that others after them would pay it forward. You get access to the private beach and pool next door. It was fun to be able to take advantage of these amenitites and the staff were polite and accommodating.

Crows Nest Up!

We visited Key West in Dec '08 and it was our fist visit. We wanted a beach view; and privacy to rest and relax. The studio apt. was perfect. Holly described it exactly. It had the 180 degrees view; louvred windows open to the breezes. She had stocked up on our favorites for lunch; and had our beverages iced on arrival. The location is perfect, across the lane from "Louies' Backyard" and within walking distance to all the action on Duval St. We did a lot of walking ( by choice) but there are buses, cabs and easy to call if wanted. We enjoyed the beach ( right outside the door ) for several days, and walked around the town for the other couple days. The stairway up the back is not for people who are disabled ( spiral metal stair case) but the studio was very nice; with kitchen and all amenities; shower; bed, etc. We took a cab to and from airport. No problems at all...

Recommended for: Age 55+, Tourists without a car, Sightseeing, Romantic getaway

Wow ! What a beautiful place. Holly and Javier are as beautiful as the surroundings. This is a very special place offering the best views and it is very private. It's a home away from home. Scale of 1 to 10 I give it an 11 It is worth it!!!!!! Brenda :-)

Holly and her condo are wonderful. We got engaged to be married while staying there and had the perfect setting in the condo and the perfect concierge with Holly. No question or need went unanswered and the location is wonderful, ridiculous and magical. Stay here! (just not when I am going back)

We stayed for a week and thought the studio was very spacious and well decorated in island/Caribbean theme, some of the work was done by the owner who is an artist so that made it much more interesting. The views from the living areas were wonderful of the ocean, and we walked everywhere from this location although next time we will take Holly up on using the bikes as the northern part of Duval was too far to walk to and back. Would highly recommend this property.

Description given was perfect. Close to everything! The property was clean, large fridge, great amentities. Would recommend to everyone. Hope to go again and stay at the same place. Great recommendations from the owner on things to do and places to go and dinner recommendations. Excellent dinner recommendations. Definitely use "No Worries" Charter for going out to the reef for snorkeling - was recommended by owner and will do this again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing week long stay in this unique studio. Quiet and clean with everything you need for a wonderful stay. The view is fantastic. Open the windows and sliders for a refreshing ocean breeze night and day. Holly and Javier are warm and welcoming hosts who are nearby if you need them. I recommend renting the bikes for some Key West site seeing, but you can walk to Duval St. and Mallory Square. We had full use of the pool and beach at the resort next door for a reasonable daily fee. The resort staff is very friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay in Key West and when we return, I hope this studio is available for our stay.

It has been over a year since our stay at the Southernmost studio in Key West. Nevertheless, the enchantment of our stay there lingers to this day. When you stay there you feel like you are sleeping on the beach - with windows that open on all sides of you you can see an hear the ocean and the breeze blowing through the palm trees. We would spend quite a bit of time in the studio each morning since you could still experience relaxing on the beach while still being in the comforts of the studio. The studio is quaint and unpretentious. The #1 amenity is the view and proximity to the beach and Duval Street. In Key West what more do you need? I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to meet Holly and Javier face-to-face as they were away due to a family emergency. However, they were super-accomodating and made sure that our stay was enjoyable even from afar.

I am forwarding you 4 e mails of photo's of what i think is one of Key West's finest rentals! This is special on so many levels.
It is both in the heart of Key West and is the Heart of Key West! Having been here near thirty years myself,
I have seen buildings and Hotels built around it, yet this property stays true to what Key West was and always will be, "Unique"

First, The Ocean is literally steps out the door and the Owner's are artists which you will immediately see when you walk inside inside!
I am forwarding these pictures and yet they do not do it justice as standing inside either of these units.

(one up and one garden level) I know this is getting to you late as you are to begin filming today, but i assure you, if you see this property, you will agree that it is perfect for HGTV! Thanks Jenna!

Finally a destination that is "one of a kind" Unique!" Crows Nest was delightful in every way- Still not sure Holly actually lives downstairs given the level of privacy :) Loved our too few visits from ChiGi and martini, the only suggestion we could think of was a chicken or two in the yard.... :)
