Description of the Key West vacation home rental

Ahoy! PirateHead Cove, your affordable vacation dream-come-true is now taking bookings for 2013 season!

We are located within Key West city limits in one Key West's only waterfront neighborhoods. We are about 4 miles from Duval Street and downtown, about 2 miles from Smather's Beach and the airport, and half a mile from the golf course, some cool local restaurants, bars, convenience and liquor stores.

Your rental includes Jamis Taxi Cruiser bicycles for your use, 2 kayaks, snorkels and masks, water toys, a cooler for the beach, and some limited fishing gear. If you play the guitar, let us know, we will lend you one!

Immaculate and elegant waterfront guest house with 2 queen bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. Fully stocked kitchen with oak breakfast bar, dining table, modern designer-bath with slate-tiled shower, gleaming hardwood floors, covered patio with outdoor dining furniture, central air, cable TV & wireless internet. Professionally landscaped tropical garden setting by prominent Key West landscape artist.
Just a few steps across the yard to dive off the dock into the crystal clear ocean, or sun yourself on the patio. Fully stocked with towels and linens, deck towels, dishes and cookware. Gas BBQ, hot tub and parking for one car.

After a busy day downtown, come home and relax in the hot tub and watch the sunset. Desire something different? Just ask..we will do our best to make it happen.

Desire something different? How about staying on a Hatteras "Floatel" downtown? Sleeps 4, all the amenities, cable and wireless, flat screen tv, large aft deck to sit out and enjoy the sunset. Queen, king and twin beds, 2 baths with showers and kitchen with microwave, cooktop and full-sized fridge/freezer. For those who want to be close to the action ~ right at the end of Duval Street, downtown Key West.
Maximum occupancy 6 persons in guest house. Rate is $349/night. Sunset cruises available.

No college students or spring breakers, sorry. PirateHead Cove is not a party house.

Area Information

Located within Key West city limits, we are in one of Key West's only waterfront neighborhoods. Our living reef, just steps from your door, is home to a myriad of tropical fish, and is frequently visited by manatee, dolphins, sea turtles and other tropical sea friends. Owner is on site in separate apartment. We are about 4 miles from World Famous Duval Street, half a mile from the 18 hole golf course, liquor store and some great local restaurants and bars. We are 4 miles from Smather's Beach, 2 miles from the airport, & shopping. Pirate Head Cove is the best of both worlds! Close enough for downtown action when you want it, and quiet enough to relax when you don't!

NO SPRING BREAKERS OR COLLEGE STUDENTS, BACHELOR PARTIES OR THOSE LOOKING FOR A PARTY HOUSE.

Deposit is fully refundable with 90 day written notice prior to arrival date. $69 damage fee and 150$ cleaning fee . Any other cancellations forfeit 50% of rental cost unless owner approved. Rates may vary during special events and holidays.
Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Discover, Mastercard, Money Order, Personal Check, Visa
Other Fees: Any damage caused by guests, friends of guest, including lost or stolen items that is not covered by insurance policy will be charged to said guest. No persons other than PirateHead Cove's registered guests may stay or use it's amenities without prior permission of owner. No exceptions.

What a great property! We stayed for 4 nights and couldn't have been happier with this place. Michele the property owner was very accomodating and place was clean and tidy. What a great way to spend a few days in the Keys. I would recommend Pirate Head Cove anytime.

My wife and I, and another couple just stayed here for 4 nights. The first night we stayed on the yacht because the house was occupied by another family which was ok, we enjoyed our stay and thought it was neat. The Yacht was a very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. The other nighs (3) we stayed in the home which was extemely comfortable as well, very clean and kept well. It was like staying in paradise. I am extemely glad that we decided to stay here and not a hotel. Michelle and Jeff the owners and very nice and like to get to know the people the stay there. They let us know of places near by to go to,to have a good time and to get great food. Malory square is app. 10-15 mins by moped depending on traffic and 8-10 mins to duval st. We had a great time. This is a must see and I would definatly say a MUST STAY..... WE LOVED IT. This was our honeymoon and the other couples anniversary and we are planning to go back next year to stay again.
