Description of the Key West vacation townhouse rental

This 2 bedroom, 1 and ½ bath end unit town home is located on President's walk ( Ivory Coast) in the prettiest section of the Truman Annex. The home is decorated in exceptional taste; including a King size bed in the master bedroom with ample closet space and its own private covered deck for your morning coffee, or romantic evening. The second bedroom has twin bed's with its own private deck, also a spacious upstairs bath with tub and a ½ bath downstairs. All bedrooms have TV with cable,internet hookup. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the appliances of home, including, microwave, garbage disposal, oven and range,outside Grille,The Kitchen with a bar, opens to the family room with TV,DVD,stereo and French door to the outside patio area for that "Key West" outside living feel. Private parking just steps from your unit and a beautiful pool with lounge chairs for your tanning pleasure.Park the car for the time your there,Short Walk to Duval, St,Beaches,and Mallory Square!!

Key West Truman Annex info
Truman Annex is located in what is called "Old Town" Key West. It’s an easy walk to everything in Key West, from the Mallory Square Sunset Celebration to Ft. Zach Beach to Duval Street (restaurants, nightclubs and shopping) to numerous Museums. But why is it called Truman Annex? The answer has to do with the unique history of Key West.

Truman Annex is a former Navy Base and is named after President Harry Truman, who had his presidential retreat at the Navy Base known as the "Little Whitehouse" (now a museum open for tours). When the Navy Base closed, the area was redeveloped as a 6-block planned community designed to capture the historic essence of "Old Town" Key West. Truman Annex now has a mixture of multi-million dollar homes, townhouses, condos, and even a bed & breakfast as well as the Little Whitehouse Museum.

As a former Navy Base, Truman Annex is obviously adjacent to the water. It is also a "gated community" with its own private security and guard controlled gates. Due to its ideal location, a car is not necessary (though parking is available) and numerous bicycle and scooter rental locations are available should the need arise.

Wonderful place to stay!

The townhome was prefect. Two lovely bedrooms. Laundry upstairs. Great patio. Everything you could want. Pool near by. Nice neighborhood. Very quiet. Everything was within walking distance. The owners sent us a great list of what to do, where to go and what to see. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Nice two bedroom unit,very well maintained and great location. Truman Annex grounds are well maintaned and very quite considering your only two blocks from Duval Street. Would highly recommend to stay at any rental location in Truman Annex. No more hotels for family when we return to Key West.

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful Truman Annex condo. The location is very good - within a short walking distance to Duval Street and Mallory Square. We also enjoyed sipping coffee and cocktails on the patio and decks. The pool is great and just around the corner. The accomodations exceeded our expectations and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, well equipped place to stay in a bulls eye location!

The townhome was located in a central part of the very historic Truman Annex and within walking distance to almost everything. The unit was spacious and updated. The shared pool was just a short distance away. Everything you could need or want in a home away from home. I would highly recommend this property. The owner was also great to deal with.

it would be hard to find a better location in the old town of key west, steps away from Duval Street and Fort Zach beach, convenient bike/scooter rentals, market, yet quiet and in a quaint development. apartment is clean and great for a couple, two couples or a small family. only one tiny complaint: there is a ridiculously limited selection of cookware and they should provide dishwasher soap. who's going to buy dishwasher soap to use only once?
