ALOHA! Our 1 bedroom, 2 bath unit at Maui Sunset is tastefully furnished and newly renovated. Convenient ground floor unit. From the lanai walk to the fountains to meditate, enjoy the landscpaed grounds, explore the beach, have a bbq and relax by the pool (oceanside). Sleeps up to 4 people with queen bed, queen sofabed, and full-size futon. You can have meals on the lanai and a picnic on the beach or venture out to nearby swimming and snorkeling beaches in Kihei and Wailea.
The Maui Sunset complex is on the southwestern shore of Maui in the town of Kihei. Kihei is located in the central part of the island. We are close to all of Maui's scenic attractions, including miles of white sandy beaches, Wailea and Makena's numerous World Championship golf courses & Mt. Haleakala.
The Maui Sunset is on five acres of beautifully landscaped oceanfront property with flowering trees and local plants. Waipuilani beach at Maui Sunset is the perfect spot to watch the sunset with windsurfers and kitesurfers in the foreground. From November through April, look for whales breaching in the ocean waters along the beach. Air conditioned weight/fitness room, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, tennis courts, shuffleboard, putting green, and croquet are available for your use free of charge. Activity hut consultants with information and discounts on activities/attractions are conveniently located in the pool area. Windsurfing, kitesurfing and fishing are the many water sport activities at Maui Sunset. Swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at many sandy safe beaches in Kihei and nearby Wailea, as well as surfing and body surfing beaches.
Maui Sunset is conveniently located near reasonable and excellent restaurants offering local and 4-star cuisine. Banks, internet cafes, cinema, ice cream, supermarkets, drug stores, video rentals, etc... are located in pleasant shopping malls only 2 blocks away from the complex. The Kihei Aquatic Center is a few minutes away and free to the public. The center boasts an Olympic size pool, 50 meter pool and childrens pool with wading fountain. The town of Wailea is just 8 minutes away by car and the Wailea shops offers upscale shopping.
