The kitchen was completely upgraded in 2005 and is fully equipped with all kitchenware including coffee maker and blender. If a relaxing night in is what you crave, dine on the lanai while soaking in the sun and appreciating the fantastic view of Haleakala, then sit back and watch your favorite shows or movie in your cool, air conditioned suite.
Keep in touch with family and friends with use of the telephone with free long distance to the US and Canada, or check email with ease on the computer with high speed internet. Surf local activities sites to make sure you don't miss a thing Maui has to offer. With a computer in the unit there is no need to bring your laptop, but if you do, the condo has free wireless internet as well.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days in March 2008. The condo was clean, well furnished and in a good location. It was right across the street from a small beach (which was good b/c there are fewer tourists crowding it). The complex is on a busy street, but this particular condo is towards the back of the complex so we didn't hear any street noise. It was a great place and we would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

What a great little place! The computer was a godsend. Brilliant!
Very nicely equipped place. The bathroom fan didn't work and there was a few MINOR little things but overall this place cannot be beat for the price. Wrapping lanai is rare and nice. I would love to come back.

Greetings..I just spent 15 sun filled un-hurry'd days in Kihei at "Joey's" wonderful condo. The first thing you notice is how clean and cozy this place is. The view of the mountain was always changing and a treat watch. The pool and common areas were very well maintained by the hard working grounds crew each day. There is a small park with picnic tables just across the road. This park is great for children or folks who like a safe beach without dangerous currents to worry about. I chose to do a "green" vacation (no rental car) by walking and using the bus. This was easy to do and $6.00 will get you most places on the island and back. The comupter and free phone service were the highlight of a super sweet condo. Joey always seemed just quick phone call away for answering any questions about the computer or anything else. bottom line is...I felt very safe staying in her loveable "home away from home" My hats off the Joey and the staff at Kihei Bay Surf...Thanks everone....signed Kenny from Brownsville Oregon.

I stayed in Joey's rental condo at the Kihei Bay Surf in mid October 2008. I was on a pretty tight budget for my vacation (couldn't afford to take a vacation, but couldn't afford not to), and when I saw the ad for this little studio I thought it was too good to be true. You can't even rent a motel room in most towns for what I paid for a fully furnished condo! It had just about everything one would need to be comfortable after a full day of enjoying all of Maui's fantastic activities. I also loved the location. Being in the north end of Kihei....it was away from the hustle and bustle of the central and south Kihei condos...been there, done that. Easy to get to everywhere I wanted to go, and set back from the road so most of the sounds I heard where the songs of the birds outside.
Other plusses where the great view of Haleakala from the wrap-around lanai, the phone with unlimited long distance, the computer with internet, the quiet neighbors, and all the awesome people I met starting the first day there at the pool/hot-tub area. They made me feel like a neighbor, not just a renter. They even invited me to their poolside potluck cookout they had, and had lots of advice on places to go etc. *Just a suggestion, I made sure to give my leftover food to a couple of the younger guys that work and live on the property. They were very grateful.
Take it from me, if you want clean & cozy comfort for one of two people, at a very affordable price, call and talk to Joey. You will not regret it!

I really think you should highlight (more strongly) that not only do you have wireless internet, but a computer to go with it!! This is so important to so many people. And remind them again of the long distance. It was such a treat to be able to check in on our cat/house sitter, and our families
Because your condo was booked for the last few days of our stay, we had to stay at another condo in the 2500 block of South Kihei Road. Although it was so nice to be able to walk to some nice beaches, and be close to Maui Taco (oh, how I'm craving them already), we really didn't love that place. They advertised wireless internet, but didn't provide a computer to use! When you're packing for a holiday, the last thing you want to bring is your laptop! I felt like everything we did was so restricted at the other place we stayed in. Your place felt so much more like home, and was so much more laid-back.
We will definitely refer your condo to anyone we know who is going to Maui! Kihei was really the best part of the island to stay in.
