Description of the Kihei vacation condo rental
If you're looking for a peaceful, high quality vacation rental in Maui that is also affordable and right by the best beaches on the island, then this is your place. Located at the beautifully landscaped Maui Banyan complex, 1 or 2 bdrm condo can comfortably sleep up to 7 people. It's less than 2 minutes walk to Kamamole 2, one of Kihei's best beaches, and about 10 minutes drive to Maui's jewel of beaches, Makena. Just a few mins. from bueatiful Wialea and all its shopping and Golf resorts. This condo is also just past all the shopping districts of Kihei, so you can easily avoid the traffic. On the other hand, it's close enough to walk to great restaurants and stores. And on site at the Maui Banyan are tennis courts, 2 pools plus jacuzzis, and oudoor barbecues.
The kitchen is very well equipped with all you need to prepare meals at home. Cable TV, high speed internet access, DVD/CD player, in-unit laundry, air conditioning and ceiling fans, plus other amenities complete the picture.
Rates range from $145 to $200/night.

Loved our accommodations!

We stayed at this condo for 2 weeks end of Jan. 2013 and into Feb. 2013. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The condo is in a fantastic location, comfortable and clean. Ken M. was such a delight to deal with. We loved pretty much everything about our stay here. We definitely plan to return. We loved the unit, the view, the pool, the grounds, the staff there, and had such a lovely time there. The bananas growing on the grounds were so cool, and the gorgeous plants and flowers. The beach and the ocean just across the street were great, the proximity to restaurants and grocery stores were great. And the walking trails just a little ways away are fantastic. Yup, we canucks will be back for sure! We love Kihei, Maui, and Maui Banyan is just lovely.! Thank you Ken M.! You are cool!

The place was stylish, clean, and very roomy. Worked out great for 3 adults and 2 kids. We had plenty of room to spare. The shower in the master was huge! Very nice place to stay. Close by to shopping and beaches.

This large 2 bedroom condo was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers! It is off the busy noisy waterfront street. The pool is so close with great working bbqs. It is very private and tropical! Great location!

This was a great place for my mother, my sister-in-law and I to stay. No streets to cross to get to the beach and very peaceful - except for the birds waking us up at 5 am with their singing. We really enjoyed the rooftop bbq area. We met some great people.

We loved the location and proximity to the pool, BBQ and Kamaole II beach. Staff were very helpful and there always seemed to be lots of maintenance staff working on the grounds. I really appreciated the coffee filters and coffee for the first morning so that I could get my caffiene fix prior to grocery shopping. The suite was clean and, for the most part what we expected. I can't believe how hard guests are on the walls and on the plastic containers. At home (and at your place) I always hand wash plastics, but it looks like other people just put these in the dishwasher which really wrecks them! We did not use anything in the owner's cupboard but we did leave 3 beach mats and a boogie board in the regular cupboard for the use of future guests. In previous e-mails, you had said we would have daily towel service but according to the Housekeeping staff, this has been discontinued. It was no big deal, as we just washed some towels. I am glad we brought our own beach towels as we did not see any in your owner's cupboard (which was stuffed to the rafters!). I know you are always trying to improve things for future guests so I have a few suggestions: - BBQ utensils - a decent "burger flipper" would be a wonderful addition to the other implements; - Dustbuster or broom and dustpan are a "must" since we didn't have daily housekeeping; - vegetable steamer would be a wonderful addition to those of us who like to cook nutricious meal

Quiet and relaxing

Wonderful unit. Great location. Loved that it is so close to grocery store and many activities a short drive away, but away from a lot of craziness. Loved eating fish tacos at coconuts and Thai food close by. Fabulous sensets just across the street. Not as kid friendly as we would have hoped. The residents were not so keen on children it seemed. This made us pretty nervous at first. Thankfully we met other guests who "enjoy and understood" child play. A lot of "rules" & restrictions for them. The management was incredibly nice, understanding & kept things looking fabulous. Kids loved eating the fresh mangos that fell from the trees on the grounds!

I found the condo dusty and the carpet was dirty. It needs some tlc. Drapes outdated and stained. We were told it was wheelchair accessible , using the shower was out of the question. Accessing the bedrooms , we had to move furniture around. The condo is situated in a great place, beach across the strees, stores and retaurants nice and close. Pool area is nice although there were never enough poolchairs. Staff was very nice to get along with. I also found the price of this condo quite reasonable

We had a great time! The condo is on the first floor with a view of the pool. No long walks to the pool or beach. Towels are kept fresh in your room and the grill is cleaned daily. Very close to most of the beaches and easy drive from the airport. The condo is very roomy and accommodated my family of 6 and two guest. Don’t miss out on this condo! We plan on using it again.

We just spent 12 days at the Maui Banyon. The unit was quiet and the gardens are lovely. We were very close to the pool and the barbeque. Overall, it was a great stay, our only problem was the key card to the unit did not work and the management could not seem to fix the problem! I would stay at this condo again as it is in a great location.

We spent 4 days/nights in a 1 BR condo at Maui Banyon in Kehei. The facilities were wonderful, it was easy to get to and close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The price was very competetive and the experience couldn't have been better.
