Our guests enjoy TWO living areas, FOUR baths and a PRIVATE POOL...located 1 block from Sugar Beach. This house can be rented as a 4-bedroom, 5-Bedroom or 6-bedroom. Unused rooms are simply locked off so that this home remains private for your group. Sleeps 10 - 20

The Hale Leilani is a completely remodeled 6 bedroom 4 bath home, located across from Sugar Beach in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii (1.5 blocks). This home was built in 2003 and features a large fully equipped kitchen with new appliances upstairs and a second living area with a second fully equipped kitchen downstairs. Both living areas are decorated in a modern Hawaiian style that flows throughout the home and makes you feel as though you have truly arrived in paradise.

This beautiful home sleeps up to 20 guests, with 2 King beds, 2 Queen Beds, 2 Fulls, 4 Twins, a Futon, and a sofa sleeper.

Waipuilani Beach is just two short blocks away, where you can enjoy kayaking, windsurfing and kiteboarding lessons. This home is located in central Kihei and is close to many restaurants and grocery stores, but is away from traffic.

For your enjoyment, we have boogie boards, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs and a cooler. You can arrive at your Maui home, put on your swimsuit and, in a flash, you are out the door on your way to the beach!

Celebration of parent's anniversary

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place! The rooms were comfortable and clean. With 18 people (11 adults, 7 kids) we didn't feel as if we were in each other's way. The pool was great and was used a lot! The owners were helpful too. This home was very comfortable and made our stay in Kihei enjoyable. We definitely would recommend this home to anyone, esp. other large groups.

Great Rental for Large Group!!

This home was perfect for our group of 18. There was plenty of room for everyone and the Great Room upstairs easily held us all for meals. The large kitchen was fully furnished with pans, dishes and gadgets, everything we needed to make our meals. They had everything we needed for the beach and day trips, saving us a lot of money. The location was great...only blocks from the center of everything. We definitely would recommend it for anyone needing lots of room.

Great for large groups with kids

We recently rented this prioperty and were very pleased with how well it can accommodate large parties. The gated yard helped keep all of the kids in the yard and the optional pool fence with latching gate helped us relax better while kids were in the yard. There were a multitude of sleeping options and plenty of bedding for each. There were also plenty of beach and bath towels. There are two large dining tables, one indoor and one outdoor, which gave plenty of options for eating locations. Pros: perfect for large groups, pool was clean and fenced in, two indoor refrigerators helped minimize shopping trips, many sliding glass doors to let in sea breezes, walled yard with sliding gate entry, view from yard is elevated above the adjacent street so the ocean is visible from the back porch, close walking proximity to beach, available washer and dryer. Cons: kitchen can get cramped with too many cooks, grill kept blowing out on breezy afternoons, traffic noise on adjacent street is sometimes a little too noticeable.

The house was wonderful. Very well set up for the 20 of us. Well stocked with plenty of everything. The only drawback was the fact that all of the children in our group got rashes from the pool. It was very salty for some reason. Other than that, every one loved the property and would gladly rent it again if we ever have another wedding in Maui or just any family gathering. Fabulous home and location!

We had a large family gathering with four different families (8 adults, 2 children) and this home was perfect. The main living area is huge and the two kitchen areas are equipped for all your cooking needs. There were plenty of linens and towels (including beach towels). We found having access to beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, etc was also a huge bonus and made our beach days very easy! I would definitely recommend this home and would rent it again if we needed that amount of space. The only other comment is that the pool and deck are not right ouside the home via a deck. You access the pool area from the main living area by going downstairs and walking through to the back yard. This is fine and you do get used to it - it's just not as easily accessible as it could be. The pool deck area is a bit small for such a large home, however, we managed just fine. Amy and Matt took great care of us and responded to all our queries immediately.

We had a group of 8 senior adult professionals. Location was lovely. Most complaints were being too hot in the house (no air cond) and the stairs. Kitchen set up was wonderful and living areas spaceous. Good location, lots of activities and dining nearby.

Pictures doesn't do the house justice

We rented this house for our wedding week, all the bridesmaids stayed here, friends and my family - it was soooo awesome to chillax, mom kept on saying how beautiful the house was. It was perfect and spacious and beautiful. We hung out at the pool, bbq'd, watched movies - for a large group it was definately much better than renting a condo.

What a great place to stay for big groups the house is also accessiable to the main street of S. Kihei Rd. The pictures posted of the house are too modest of the actual living space. Well equipped with amenities, appliance and supplies Esp. with the beach gear. Very well maintained and also Matthew was a great help when we needed technical assistance with the house. Very comfortable place to stay I highly recommend this house to those staying in the Kihei area.
