Description of the Kihei vacation home rental
This three-bedroom home features King, Queen and Twin bed accommodations. The vintage bath is so charming offering a claw footed bathtub and a walk in shower. A second beach bathroom is available off the back of the garage. The nostalgic charm of this home is sure to capture your heart and with some many amenities close by, all of Maui is at your doorstep.
This is a very large ½-acre corner lot, large mature hedges, shade trees and palms surrounding the property make it all private and secluded, while being close to all beaches and shops.
The Plantation Bungalows property includes a studio #2314 and or a cottage #1114 making the property a perfect place for family gatherings.

Area Information
County Kalama Park & beach at the end of the street has paved beach side jogging path starting at the Public Library and tennis & basketball courts, board rentals & surfing schools in Kalama Park, also Outdoor roller rink, skateboard park, toddlers play area, Kihei Community Center with Olympic-Size Pool & Maui Dive Shop, all within one half mile.
Most of the activities and restaurants listed below are within a mile or two of your residence. We will list them accordingly. If you have any particular interests please feel free to call for more information. Please note that during the busy season most of the Luaus are booked way ahead so make your reservations early.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

We just returned from this perfect setting for our family vacation. We are a family of five, with two teens and a five-year old. Rooms in the house are spacious with high ceilings, inviting furnishings, and just the right private yard for bocce ball games ended only by the dark of night. We spent many happy evenings there, some watching from the comfort of the generous porch, someone chasing lizards and cameleons, someone grilling, and someone ferrying drinks and more food periodically from the kitchen. The owners have thought through all the details, small and large and anticipated every need and wish. The kitchen is well-stocked with tools, pots, pans, and plenty of dishes and glasses. Coolers, quality snorkel gear that fits every family member, plenty of beach towels, multiple boogie boards, beach chairs, a supply of indoor toys for the preschooler, kayak, bikes, poker chips, etc. The guide to beaches they've written is spot on as is the current restaurant guide which the owners or previous visitors have annotated as well. Proximity to a nearly private, small beach couldn't be better for evening turtle-spotting and sunsets. Upon return, I vow to try to evoke the peace I found enjoying my book many evenings, cooled by the gentle breeze of graceful ceiling fans.

Fantastic Home in Maui!

We had the pleasure of staying in this home for 2 months and it far exceeded our expections! I was very surprised by the size of the house, it was much bigger than the photos showed. The house is very clean and has everything you will need for a perfect beach holiday in Maui. The property manager and owner are only to happy to help and were most helpful during our stay. The house has a wonderful feel and is perfect for entertaining. We have two small children, so to find the house to be soo spacious was a welcome surprise. The master bedroom has an impressive Eastern King bed!! very comfortable. I highly recommend this property for anyone going to Maui! Thank you again to both Kim and Kristin for all your help during our stay. We will certainly be back.
