Description of the Kilauea vacation cottage rental

Our newest Kauai vacation rental, 'Twin Hearts', is a charming, private one-bedroom/one-bath handcrafted rental honeymoon cottage on our 7.5 acre Kauai North Shore estate parcel, right in the heart of Kauai's magnificent North Shore. The handcrafted cottage has ocean and mountain views and a delightful hot tub, as well as very close beach proximity. Everyone who has come to stay has adored it, and we have already had repeat guests and many referrals! We have recently added a tandem Kayak and wireless high-speed internet access to the cottage's inventory! Twin Hearts is an architecturally interesting sustainable redwood home with lots of special features and privacy, about 200 yards (and lots of hedges and trees) from our house, and 250 similar yards from Hale Kai Kalani, our larger vacation rental home. Larger parties can rent both homes and maintain lots of privacy... Twin Hearts is accessed via a completely private 200' rolled gravel driveway from the paved cul-de-sac road.

The North Shore of Kauai is justfiably famous for its dozen and a half beautiful world-class beaches, incredible scenery, abundant waterfalls and rivers, and magical rainbows. But that is just the start. There is also the #1 golf course in Hawaii, horseback riding, hiking, great restaurants, and fun shopping. Experience the 4 farmer's markets each week, with produce, prepared foods, and craft items. Visit an art gallery. Go to a slack key guitar concert. Feast at a luau. Try surfing, body-surfing, or boogie-boarding. Most importantly, start a conversation with one of the very friendly and helpful local residents. In fact, start two or more! Open yourself up to Kauai, and she will open herself up to you. My wife and I stayed at this cottage for our honeymoon. It was superb. The location is in the best part of Kauai. It is close to the highway, but far enough off the road to feel like you are in the country. It is a perfect distance between Hanalei and Kaapa, which are the most frequented destinations on the island. There is a private beach down the road, plus it is less than .2 miles from the Botantical Gardens. The cottage was wonderful. Nice hot tub, privacy, well circulated air and beautiful trees and plants around the house. This was my 12th time to vacation on Kauai and I know the island very well. This is the best spot on the island to stay at, so as to really feel what Kauai is all about. It is a great value! The owners are wonderful people. Bruce and Cyndee were friendly and helpful in their tips about the island. We will come back one day! James and Dida
