Description of the Kill Devil Hills vacation condo rental

3 Bedroom 1st floor Oceanfront Condo with community pool and centrally located at 7.9 mile post in Kill Devil Hills, NC, more commenly known as the Outer Banks of NC.

We are one of 8 condos in our building and we are in view of the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kill Devil Hills, NC.

We offer TVs, DVD player, CD player,with a well equipped kitchen. WE have a Jacuzzi tub in the Master Bathroom, which is next to the King Bedroom. We offer sheets and towels with beds already made for our rentals. WE have a Queen Bedroom with a portacrib and highchair in closet. WE also have a set of twin beds with a TV for the younger crowd. WE have celing fans in Master Bedroom and Living Room. We offer seating for 8 in living room and 6 at dining room with 2 bar stools. We also have a storage closet which has 2 beach umbrellas, 8 beach chair, pool noodles and other beach items. There is two sets of decks with our unit, one has a view of Wright Brothers Memorial and the other is the oceanfron deck which has the storage closet offset in corner. There is two sliding doors to the beach access, one from living room and one from the master bedroom. WE provide some videos and some DVD's for your entertainment. There is a washer and dryer room for your convenience.

The Outer banks has loads of historic sights. The lost Colony, Manteo Waterfront, Wright Brothers Memorial, Art Galleries, Outer Banks Music Showcase, Charter Fishing, and Beach Bathing.
We have plenty of good restaurants, shopping and food stores.
We are only 90 minutes from Norfolk which has the Airport that services the area.

WE have Hatteras Island 90 minutes away with Orcacoke at the far end. For Orcacoke, you must take a ferry, and it holds cars and trucks, which has no fee as yet.

After a lengthy ride from NJ,we never was so happy as when we put the key in the door and saw the condo.It was everything just as the video presented and more.The weather was great and having a pool to enjoy on top of the ocean was awesome.The location in KDH is great for 1st timers as you are in the middle of everything.Our hosts included many books to read as well as DVD's to end the perfect days on the beach.My room was even ready for me at 3PM and that started the vacation on a great note.If I could offer a few suggestions ,they would be to offer a BBQ grill for renters and also "buggy boards" and beach umbrella.But that is only a small suggestion for an overly excellent planned vacation house.

Having stayed at the Gulf Stream the very first year it was built, it was sort of fun going back to it many years later. I had concerns about renting a 1st floor condo (i.e., limited ocean/beach views), but I ended up liking that I didn't have multiple flights of steps to go up and down as a result. The place was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The one and only suggestion I have for the owners and/or rental agency is to let renters know that there are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. We lugged all of ours with us unnecessarily. Otherwise, it was great.
