Description of the Kinnelon vacation cottage rental

You would think you were in Vermont but we are very close to New York City. The home is on a private 10 acre lake on 50 acres in Kinnelon.

There are 2 brooks and a waterfall to enjoy.

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the spot for you.

We are 45 minutes to the George Washington or 1 hr Tunnel.

Very, very private.

Area Information

The home is on a private 10 acre lake on 50 acres in Kinnelon.
Shopping, movies lots of restaurants nearby.
A walking trail is a very short distance away or you can venture right behind our property.
Waterpark is around 35 minutes and Franklin Mineral mines is a fun place to visit.
There are 2 brooks and a waterfall to enjoy.
We are only 45 minutes to the GW Bridge and 1 hr Tunnel.
Very, very private.

Peace on the Lake

This was my first trip to Kinnelon, NJ. I stayed in a small cottage on Lake Juliet. The owners Marie and John were very pleasant and it made me feel safe knowing they were just down the road. The lake is magnificent -- so peaceful, with many "moods" at different times of the day. A canoe, a paddle boat and a row boat were available. My choice was the canoe. I was lucky to have two beautiful days. The Adirondack chairs on the floating dock were an added bonus. The cabin is rustic but offers all that one needs on a lake. My only suggestion is that you brings towels and paper towels ... and, of course, whatever food you need. I am looking forward to going back to see the lake in different seasons. Writers -- this is a good find.
