Description of the Kissimmee vacation home rental

Stay in the Disney area's premiere community - Windsor Hills. This brand new 6 bedroom 4 bath pool home is located right next to one of the many park/playgrounds in Windsor Hill's newest section, The Reserve. The south facing pool is sure to please with full sun all day long. Don't worry about too much sun, there is a large covered deck area with plenty of seating. Upscale furnishings make this home show like a model. For your little princesses and pirates there are two Cinderella carriage beds and two Pirates of the Carribean beds. The dream kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances,and cherry cabinets. The two living areas leave ample room for multiple guests to spread out and relax. Each of the bedrooms features a LCD TV with DVD player. You'll feel like you are in a theatre in your own living room with the oversized TV and surround sound system. The gameroom is equipped with a full sized pool table and air hockey table for your enjoyment.

Shopping Area & Restaurants

Shopping at Outlets, Kissimmee Loop and the Florida Mall are all minutes away, March is Spring Training and Kissimmee is summer camp for the Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves. The Cleveland Indians are 5 hours away in Winter Haven and the Detroit Tigers are 45 minutes away in Lakeland. Catch many of the PGA and LPGA tournaments during the 'Florida Swing . The Daytona 500 is an easy drive about 1 hour away, and the Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach is a little over 1 hour drive away.

Formosa Gardens Mall (1 and half miles)
Just on the highway 192, Formosa Gardens Mall has a very well stocked Winn Dixie supermarket and a number of excellent restaurants.
There are several great restaurants without even having to go into highway traffic. Some of the great restaurants in the area are Red Lobster, TGI Friday's, Outback Steak House, Giordano 's ' Pizza, Carraba 's Italian Cuisine, Subway, the old country store -- Cracker Barrel and Dairy Queen for ice cream funs.
There is also a full service grocery store with a deli, and urgent care facility and a Walgreen 's Drug store in the same area

Orange Lake Town Centre (3 miles)
Head west on Hwy 192, this excellent public supermarket is on your right. It opens 7am to 11pm.

Cagan's Crossing Shopping (6 miles)
Continue to head further west, turn north on Hwy 27, 24-hrs superb brand new Wal 'Mart

Celebration Town Restaurants and Shopping
With some excellent small shops and a good selection of restaurants, it is the ideal place to take the family for a stroll round the lake, to spend a few moments sat in the rocking chairs by the waters edge and to enjoy a good meal.

Kissimmee is in Osceola County which has many courses, some of the best are close to our villa.

Mystic Dunes (Next Store)
Designed by Champions Tour Player and NBC golf analyst Gary Koch and rated a Four- Star course by Golf Digest magazine and ranked number 2 in "Orlando's Top 5 Golf Courses".

Champion's Gate Golf Club(less than 10 minutes drive)
Designed by Greg Norman. The national is an impressive American style course in the best traditions of modern U.S. golf course design. The International provides the style familiar to those who have played the great old courses of Scotland and Ireland. It boasts the highest course rating in the state of Florida at 76.3.

Celebration Golf Club (Less than 10 minute drive)

This was our first time renting a house and I can say that it was a great expierence. There were 6 adults and 8 kids and we all fit perfectly. The location was great for the theme parks as wells as for the beaches. The house pool was the kids favorite as they would jump in the moment they woke up! My one note of advice would be to bring your own pillow!!

The house had plenty of room for our teenagers and young daughter. She loved the Cinderella room. The kids looked forward to going there after long days at Disneyworld. Pool table and pool were a hit after all the walking. I would recommend it.

Why stay in a hotel?, February 15, 2009

We stayed in this awesome house with three other families while attending a cheerleading competition at Disney World/Wide World of Sports. What a great alternative to staying in a crowded hotel room! We have been attending the same competition for 5 years now and paid double the price for a single room at a moderate priced Disney Resort the previous 4 years. The house was as advertised! New, clean, beautifully furnished and all the comforts of home! I would highly recommend this to anyone visting Disney with a large extended family or any groups of families that may be attending events at the Wide World of Sports. All I have to say is we will do "same time-same PLACE" next year!

Our stay in Windsor Hills was absolutely fantastic. The house was immaculate and perfect for our needs. If the weather had been a little warmer we would have made use of the clubhouse amenities as well. Maybe next time-and we will definately be back!
