SUNSET LAKES
Sunset Lakes is a premier vacation community with gorgeous homes surrounding two (2) fishing lakes. Some of the community amenities include Paddleboats, a Gazebo, a Communal pool with cabana, and a Children's play area. The conservation area surrounding Sunset Lakes is home to a variety of birds and wildlife! Golf enthusiasts will find several courses within close proximity too.
The location is only 6 minutes from Disney, 10-12 minutes from Sea World, and 20 minutes from Universal. It is only a 30-minute drive from Orlando International Airport. You will be within 3 to 4 minutes of numerous supermarkets, shops, and many superb restaurants.
Area Information
Visitors to Sunset Lakes are often surprised to find such a peaceful and relaxed location so close to the theme parks, restaurants and shopping areas. While staying at Sunset Lakes it is entirely possible to visit the parks in the morning, spend the afternoons relaxing by your own private pool before returning to the parks in minutes, for the evening firework displays.
This established community is home to a plethora of wildlife including raccoons, armadillos, possums, Sandhill Cranes and even the stunning American Bald Eagle as been seen perched in the surrounding tree tops.
The large lake has a dock and cabana that is the perfect location to enjoy the beautiful Florida sunsets as well as the spectacular Disney fireworks.
The dock is also the perfect place for guests staying at sunset lakes to try and catch some of the fish in the well-stocked lake. Guests do not need a permit to fish the lakes but it should be noted that fishing is on a catch and release basis only.
The community also boasts a communal pool with changing area and is the ideal place for several families to meet, relax and enjoy the Florida sunshine. Next to the pool is a small tot-lot that has been recently renovated and is the perfect place for our younger guest to enjoy the swings, slides and climbing frames.

Sorry late to get this in! Bill is very accommodating & we're very grateful to that. We have a child w/mild cp & asperger's plus other issues. My husband's dad & mom not in best of health. We were able to have them visit for a day & they really enjoyed the bedroom on 1st floor & walk in shower. All 8 enjoyed the pool with plenty of room. The grill was wonderful to have & we appreciate that Bill doesn't charge extra for it. Plenty of hot water. All 6 got a shower right after beach. We wanted to just do beaches & game room & this really fit all our needs. Theme parks too expensive. We enjoyed the fishing, the hot air balloons over the lake & quite nights looking at the moon, as well as the game room. So much space for everyone to have self time as well. Loved the kitchen & kids like picking which eating area to eat in.We had to switch dates due to our daughter's medical needs & Bill was constant with the emails and very understanding. It is really hard to have a disabled because we go from day to day, moment by moment.She had the best time ever & is STILL talking about this home & the nice man who let us rent it. She has been constant on asking when we are going to go back. All our kids ooh and ahhed at the house & enjoyed every last bit.We are striving for next year. We can't thank you enough for a wonderful home, your kindness, or making us feel "normal".

This home was the most pleasant we've ever rented in my family's fifteen trips to Disney! It has plenty of room, nice furnishings, a nice pool, and a really beautiful lake view. We had a great time and truly enjoyed the home.

My family had an amazing time staying in this amazing home. Room enough for our family and another, and the luxury of a clean, screened in pool was icing on the cake! We have been to Orlando several times, staying at area hotels, including the Disney Resorts, but that will be a thing of the past, because, as far as I am concerned, there is no better way to vacation in Orlando!

My family and I had an excellent time at this house. Very well run by Bill. We recommend getting the pool heated in the winter time. It made the trip!!!! The house was very spacious and we had everything we needed. what a great vacation.

The home was beautiful and very spacious. We will be returning to Orlando in the summer months. We will be attending AAU basketball tournaments. We really enjoyed our stay.
