Facilities were basic and clean. Basic household items were lacking. Examples include no dish towels, no dish soap, no basic cooking ingredients like salt, pepper, flavors and particularly annoying was not even a spare roll of toilet paper. A garage comes with the unit, but it would not accommodate even a mid-size car. Pool area was average and clean. This is a gated community, but security was not visible. Cars would drive in behind our vehicle and slip through the gates without entering a security code. Area was quiet.

We liked the townhouse, very clean, quiet place, near everything, people who work there is polite and price was good. Some little things to improve as the air conditioning (did not cool the house as we wanted) and the pool was not in service at that time, although we enjoyed our vacations as planed. I do recommend Oakwater, we will come back next year. Thanks

The place was beautiful and we were under the assumption that tennis court had racquets which it didn't we had to go buy them. Also no internet service , we had to drive to another resort for internet service. there was one saucpan, no frying pan . The kitchen didn't have proper cooking utensil. We told the office and they said they would have someone drop stuff off. We waited a day and then went to walmart and bought spatula, pan , to cook. The condo itself was lovely they just need to be honest when telling you the kitchen is missing some stuff. Also you need to bring your own basketball, volleyball, tennis stuff.

House was dirty. Spent first evening washing floors, dirty walls, sticky handles. Needed to wear shoes to avoid getting black feet from dirty carpet. Phone periodically working. Had to buy kitchenware, cleaning products, dish towels and rags, dish soap, dishwasher soap. Icing on cake: owner in a lawsuit with condo corp. over unpaid (supposedly) condo fees. Therefore, we were not allowed to use the pool, the gym or any other amenities. This property should not be advertised for rental. DO NOT GO.

We really enjoyed our stay, very quiet, close to Walt Disney, restaurant and stores. Felt in security with the gate and surveillance guard. We gladly used the pool and hot tub, it was warm and clean. House was spacious and quiet, well furnished and nice appliance in kitchen, well equiped. The only complaint...there was stains on the carpet and kitchen needed more supplies (we had to purchase kitchen linen, liquid soap, plates for oven...) Other than that we were really pleased with our stay and we wouldn't mind returning

My daughter and parents and I stayed at this condo for one week in January. What a disappointment is was. Here is a short list of just some of the problems: 1. To few towels. We requested more but were not accommodated. 2. Dingy carpet. We didn't want to walk on it without shoes on because it was gross and stained. 3. No hand soap, dish soap or laundry soap, no broom, no wireless internet (no internet in the condo at all). 4. Limited pots and pans, all of which were gross with the non-stick coating peeling off and getting into the food. 5. Most of the walls had black scuff marks (maybe from luggage scraping the wall?). The whole place needs to be re-painted. 6. Most electrical outlets didn't work for charging up or cell phones. We needed to take turns charging our phones on the one working outlet. If the owners cleaned the carpets (or put in new carpet), painted, replaced the gross pots and pans, and stocked the place with necessary toiletries, it may be worth the cost (maybe); but, as it is, it's not worth the price. Plus, the condo common grounds are nothing special. I would not recommend this condo to a friend.

The condo was very nice and clean. The location was quiet and very convenient. The pool was nice but not nearly enough lounge chairs. The few that were there, alot of those were broken. Impressive Club House. There was a small table on our balcony, but no chairs, had to pull kitchen chairs outside. No kleenex, extra garbage bag, broom or even a dish towel. I don't mind buying some things, but some dish soap and a roll of paper towel to start would have been nice. Didn't use the diswasher, only two of us and it seemed silly to buy dishwasher soap to run the dishwasher only one time. Would stay there again, but would stop at the store first! If you like to walk, the grounds were perfect for that. The only other thing that would be nice, would to have had internet connection in the condo, although you could hook up in the Club House. Very nice for the money. Always enjoy staying in a condo over a hotel.

Our stay at Oakwater was mixed. The unit was nice. The location was good. It was VERY quiet. The pool area was nice, but not centrally located. We were told the rooms would have internet, which they did not. Had to bring laptop to pool area common room and pay $20/week. Also told you could rent computers. That's also a negative. I requested a main floor unit due to health reasons and was given an upper unit, which is about 20 steps up. Limited TV stations. Uncomfortable living room furniture. Poor water pressure and hot water in main. Telephone did not work. Master bed was very uncomfortable. No hangers in any closets. On the positive, large living space. All the kitchen items you would need. Great place to stay for retirees or couples. I wouldn't recommend if you have kids. Not many of them around. Your children will get bored quick. I would stay there again, but this time I would have to make some better arrangements to insure the things above are included.

The place is nice and close to Disney parks but the unit needs carpet replacement. There's a lot of stains everywhere it's just a kind of icky to walk. There's a car garage but you can only park your car outside. I wonder if any car would fit in that garage. Also, only one bedroom has a TV the masters bedroom the second bedroom don't. We requested an extra pillows but they only provide one pillow per bed otherwise, overall rating was fine.

We stayed in #2819. The townhouse was very nice BUT the rugs were VERY DIRTY, especially on the stairs and in living/dining areas. Also it had very little "stuff" in it. There were no sharp knives (not butter). I had to go out and purchase a set of four. Also there were no hangers. There was no vaccuum or broom to use either. I understand that it is self catering but these things really need to be in the house. We have rented many properties in the past and they at least had some of these items in them. There were no chairs on the porch either. We used the dining chairs but two chairs and a small table would have been nice. Did not get a chance to use the pool or hot tub. It was very quiet both outside and in the unit. I realy was not happy with the rugs as dirty as they were especially when we had guests over. We did report this when we checked in. I'm not so sure I would rent this again.

We spent almost a week at oakwater resort in a 3 bedroom townhome and loved it. Everything was the way it was supposed to be. Great property and location... Also, it is very near commercial market place and one can eat or buy groceries. Lots of different restaurents and no issues as far as finding a place to eat is concerned.
Best part of this deal was that the staff is very courteous. Once you check in, they leave you alone unless you contact them. They are very helpful whenever any information or help is needed from them. All in all a great comfortable experience. Hightly recommend it to anybody going on vacation

The resort is made up of two and three bedroom townhomes (either first floor or second floor units). The complex was very clean and very well suited for families with small children. The outdoor lagoon style pool is situated on the southside of the complex. The pool water is heated and has a zero depth entry point for very small children. Adjacent to the pool is a splash pad and a playground. There is also a tennis court, basketball court, and sand vollyballl court along with a wood chip walking track around a retention pond. There are vending machines at the pool along with clean bathrooms with changing stations. The first floor three bedroom townhome we stayed in was on Oak Water Dr. It was very clean and contained all the items we needed for the week (coffee machine, toaster, can opener, mixer, all major appliances, linens, & utencils).

....it was fantastic! I travel a lot and I have to admit that this resort is one of the best one I've stayed in so far. Very spacious and beautifully decorated. Exactly how we expected it and maybe even better. Very modern and clean. We even had two extra cot beds when we arrived and we didn't even ask for them but they gave it to us anyway. There was a master bedroom with a huge bathroom aside from this other bathroom they had! Might I add the walk-in closet was very useful as well. Also, the kids room and the other bedroom fit us perfectly. There is also a garage, so no need to worry about parking your car. Also, it is very close by to Disneyworld and Universal Studios. It is also closeby to a lot of othe attractions. A major tip is if you are not to familiar with the Florida area, make sure you pay attention to the Marker #'s as it becomes very helpful when driving around there. The only thing I would would recommend is to make sure you double-check everything to make sure nothing is broken or out of the ordinary. We had a missing lightbulb and the closet door to the washing machine was loose but we called and told them about it and they marked it down for us. The clubhouse was really nice. This place is perfect for families who are looking for a comfy place to stay while on vacation and don't want to stay in a hotel - also very reasonable rate for a 4 day / 3 nights weekend. Also great for friends who are looking for a spacious place to accommodate everyone. Highly recommended!
