Description of the Kissimmee vacation villa rental

This villa has brand new furnitures, bedding and many upgrades.
Located just 3 miles from Disney's main entrance in the upscale Indian Creek community, the Tree House provides a superior accommodation in the ideal location. This area is known as the preferred area for guest home rental near Disney, and within a short drive to other attractions including Universal Studio, Sea World, Discovery cove, Wet'n Wild. There is a large plaza comprised of nearly a dozen restaurants, various shops and a 24hr grocery store located on the corner as you turn off of 192 to head back to your home.
This stylish single story 5 bedroom/4 bathrooms home consists of two king master suites, one bedroom with Queen Bed and other 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds. In addition, we have 2 sofa sleepers. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a generous breakfast niche and spacious living and dining areas that comfortably accommodate the full complement of 14 occupants. There is full cable and three TV 's, free movie/sports channels and more than 200 other channels. Free high speed internet access and Free domestic long distance calls.
The sparkling pool is the perfect place to enjoy the Florida sunshine. The pool is gas heated so that you and your family can enjoy splashing around whatever time of year you come and stay.
The entire yard is fenced for privacy. As you exit out from the spacious family room outside to the pool area, your eye is immediately drawn to the pavers stone used in the construction of the pool decking. The stones help create a very opulent setting for the pool. Both master suites have direct access out to the patio. Heating of the pool is an additional $150/wk. Stay of less than 7 nights may incur a clearning fee of $105.00.
If you step outside, there's plenty to do in Indian Creek, with tennis courts, putting green, BBQ and Picnic areas, plus a volleyball court and child's play area, and easy access to the parks. You have a perfect vacation base.
Local Area...
Although Indian Creek is less than 3 miles from Disney, it is far enough away to be well out of the hustle and bustle and is a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.
Formosa Gardens & Highway 192
Locally is the Formosa Gardens Shopping Centre which has a large supermarket, medical centre, gift shops and a good selection of restaurants including TGI Fridays, Outback Steak House and The Red Lobster, together with a Chinese and Italian plus a Subway that does great sandwiches.
A little further along you will find a vast selection of restaurants offering every kind of food imaginable from the fabulous help yourself buffets to Japanese, Chinese and Indian, there is also a huge selection of souvenir and gift shops all selling the obligatory 3-for-$10 t-shirts!
Downtown Kissimmee
Downtown Kissimmee is a ten minute drive away and again has an abundance of restaurants and shops lining the main 192 highway. Look for the Big Wheel at the heart of downtown and you'll find a great entertainment complex with go-carts, rides and kiddies rides, along with a good selection of novelty stores, a concert stage and restaurants/bars.
Celebration
Celebration is a quaint, purpose built town eerily similar to The Truman Show (if you have seen the movie) in so much that it is perfect, spotless and pristine. The quaint shops offer something a little different from the usual souvenirs. There are some superb restaurants, cafe's overlooking the waterfront and a cinema.
Local Transport...
Although car hire is often the best option, there is local transport around if you prefer not to drive or just fancy a car-free day or an evening out without having to worry about drink driving.
Shuttles and Taxis:
A company we would recommend with very competitive rates is Florida Transport who offer transport to all the theme parks and attractions and airport transfers.
Public Transport:
Our home roughly a 25-30 minute walk to the busy 192 highway along which the local bus service No55 runs west and terminates at the Walmart Supercentre at Cagans Crossing on Highway 27 or east through Kissimmee terminating at Osceola Mall. The buses run every half hour from around 6am until 8.00pm. There is also another service, No 56, which will take you right to the Disney World Transportation and Ticket Centre - from here you can use any of the free Disney transportation systems to get around the various parks.
Area Description
Golf in Orlando...
If you play golf, well or badly, then Orlando is for you. Everything is big in America and nothing comes bigger than golf in Florida.
Many PGA Tour players including Tiger Woods and Ernie Els alongside legends Arnold Palmer and Gary Player make Orlando their home. Why? Within an hour's drive of Orlando are more than 150 superb golf courses designed by the best players, Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman and Johnny Miller to name but a few. Designers like Robert Trent Jones, Tom Fazio, Ron Garl and David Harman have added to the plethora of challenging and spectacular courses on offer right on your doorstep.
Prices vary from as little as $20/£12 per round without a cart in low season to $160/£90 per round with a cart in high season. With an average annual temperature of 72 degrees seasonal weather doesn't vary nearly as much as in Britain.
If you just want a bit of fun then fun you will have. If you want to improve your game, Orlando is home to six golf instruction academies including the renowned David Leadbetter Golf Academy where he personally teaches. Tuition courses vary from three hours to three days ($300/£170 to $2,300/£1,300).
Kissimmee is in Osceola County which has many courses, the nearest to Indian Creek being Mystic Dunes which is literally two minutes in the car or just a ten minute stroll away. This 18 hole championship course offers an unprecedented golf experience, a dunes-style western nine similar to a British links course and an eastern nine of low American classic wandering through wetlands and oak forests. This course was rated 4 star and ranked number 2 in "Orlando's Top 5 Golf Courses".
Rates vary from $70/£40, including cart (with GPS) and range balls to $150/£85 depending on the season. A superb restaurant and bar are also located in the clubhouse.
A ten minute drive takes you to ChampionsGate International and National 18 hole courses both designed by Greg Norman. The International provides a British links-style experience and the national is traditional American style. It's next to here you will also find the David Leadbetter Golf Academy.
Prices vary from $90/£50 to $150/£85 including cart with GPS.
A fifteen minute drive and you could be in the Celebration Golf Club rated 4.5 stars and in the top 3 in central Florida for service and in the top two for course conditions in Golf Digests "Best Places to Play". Prices vary from $70/£40 to $120/£70.
Possibly the Kissimmee Golf Club, fifteen minutes drive, offers the best value for money for the not so serious golfers. This course has long been a favourite of locals and visitors alike and prices are a wallet friendly $20/£12 to $50/£30.
