Vista Del Lago
Situated in a beautiful lakeside development, yet only four miles from Disney and all the main attractions. Vista offers a very friendly family environment suitable for all ages
The park is 24 hour guard gated, with security pass entry giving safety for you and your family to relax and enjoy the facilities.
A Mediterranean style clubhouse with private courtyard is at the center of the community. Here you can relax and enjoy the heated pool which is floodlit, sample the hot tub or for the more athletic try the gym, tennis courts, basketball and more. Indoor facilities include a pool room we also have a library and church services
All equipment hire is free. For the young kid’s we have a playground and kiddies pool .
A short walk finds two more swimming pools a beautiful lake with water sports and even a manufactured beach with volleyball !.
Within walking distance are the “Shoppe’s of Vista“ an attractive small development of restaurants, entertainment, shopping and bars located at the entrance. A great way to relax after a day at the parks.

Vista del Lago is located on US192 approx 4.5 miles West of Disney Main Gate
whilst being very convenient for all the major attractions it is situated to
enable you to escape the tourist areas at the end of a day at the parks.
Set in a beautiful lakeside develpment yet at the entrance there are a varied
selection of amenities on your doorstep. You can dine at a varied selection of
restaurants, enjoy a relaxing drink, catch a game at our local sports bar or
explore the "shoppes of Vista". Major supermarkets are only a short drive and
a wide range of take-away food outlets will deliver to your home.

Tropical Storm Debbie

Wow what a nice area to stay at. Felt like staying at your own home. Owners always respond to any questions you may have via email quickly, manager in charge in Florida Diane also very pleasant and in the area to help in any situation. Tropical Storm Debbie tried ruining my vacation and with all the entertainment in Vista Lago you didn't have to worry about any Storm around you, enjoying the view from the balcony was beautiful. I had reviewed a few reviews before taking my trip and saw many people mentioning the need for coins for areas with tolls, but I realized that if you drive down on 192 you can take I-4 and wont have to pay any tolls. I-4 takes you to almost all attractions in Florida.

We are now back in VA and "recuperating" from a very busy vacation in central Florida! This actual house was unavailable, so we were offered a similar arrangement in a smaller house. The Vista del Lago community was very nice, however we didn't partake in the amenities for we were so busy with other activities! This particular house had 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and eat-in kitchen and full size laundry area. There was one family/living room so if you need a lot of space, I wouldn’t recommend this house for more than a family of 5. It worked well for us with 3 boys ages 7, 6 and 2. [Please remember that this review is for a smaller house but similar arrangement.] There is a very nice screened in back porch that we didn’t use because it was so humid our entire visit. The front or parking area has a cover so you can stay dry if it’s raining. We felt safe in this community. The house and its contents were clean and updated. Free Wi-Fi is available in the clubhouse. The house was supplied with all the basic essentials as well as a nice library of movies. We did purchase a booster seat for the table and left it there for future renters. We requested a pack-and-play--it was set up and waiting for us upon our arrival. Renters will need to get a front gate "pass key" during business hours (M-F, 9-5) and will be expected to leave a $20 deposit. We arrived on a Saturday, so we had to get "permission" to get into the community until we could get our pass key on Monday (a small inconvenience). The community was very quiet during our stay. It seemed there were some full time residents, but mostly vacant vacation homes/rentals. It is very close to various restaurants, Publix (grocery store-2 of them), Super Target and a 10 minute drive to Super Wal-Mart (off of 27). It took us about 15 min to get to Disney’s Main Gate, 25-30 min to SeaWorld and about an hour to the Space Coast. Travel tip—purchase a SUNPASS from Publix or have change or a roll of quarters and use the toll roads (another poster said this, too). There are some toll booths that are not manned so they’ll only take exact coins or a SUNPASS. The toll roads will get you where you need to go. When we were on our way to the airport (MCO is 30-40 min drive) to come home, 192 was shut down due to a huge hotel fire (nobody seriously injured, PTL), so we doubled back, used the toll road and made our flight. Overall, a very nice place to stay!

It was a pleasure to stay at this property. The inside is well kept and just as pictured. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with minor necessities. The community is friendly and secure. The house is very close to the main gate. It is also about a 15 minute walk from the clubhouse and two main pools. The community is located on US Hwy 192 not far from the entrance to Disney. The community is also about 25 minutes from Universal. Tip: Buy a Sunpass-mini or have change. Toll road 429 is a quick way to I-4.

"Very clean, well kept villa, plenty of room, and very confortable. Linens and towels are new and clean. There is a guard on duty 24H at the entrance. Neighbors are very quiet and friendly and all the people that work at the Club House are helpful and nice. Right on 192, just 4 miles away from Disney it is on an excelent location, and it is very easy to find it (even if you donÂ´t have a GPS). The Club House has a heated pool, and a jacuzzi. if you just want to relax for a change. Definitely I would go there a hundred times before thinking of going somewhere else. I highly recomend it. It is "the best buy 4 Disney" by far. "
