The home was lovely and perfectly situated to drive to and from all Disney attractions, as well as Universal Studios. The grandchildren loved the themed rooms. The adults loved the king beds (though some of the pillows need replacing) and private bathrooms. It would have been nice to know we needed hair dryers even though the ad said we didn't. There weren't any beach towels and there were not enough bath towels to go around if one used them for the pool. The biggest challenge was the prevalence of little ants on the kitchen counters (had to keep food in the microwave), a few scorpions, and several roaches. We were surprised and wondered when the exterminator had last been there, as we own a place on Marco Island and never had this problem. The refrigerator did not work well and didn't keep food cold. It either needs to be repaired or replaced. The kitchen was minimally stocked with equipment. No hangers were in the first floor walk-in closet either which made no sense. Additionally, a dressing table stool in the mermaid room was broken and couldn't be fixed by us. With a few touches here and there, I would have given a higher rating.. Overall, the value was great.

Our stay was wonderful. The home was very well taken care of. Whenever there was an issue, it was immediately addressed. The house had plenty of space for everyone. The community was wonderful and well taken care of. I would definitely stay here again.

The space in this house is awesome. We had three families staying there and each couple had their own master suite and there was still plenty of room for the kids to spread out. We would have liked to have more bath towels in the house, but thankfully there was a washer/dryer that we could use. The set up is wonderful for groups of kids/cousins, we had three rooms full of kids and they loved having their own space.

The home is perfectly located for Disney World and Sea World. There is enough room for everyone and the way the bedrooms are, everyone has privacy. I would point out one thing. If you plan to have the hot tub "hot", you need to go ahead and pay for heating the pool. If not, there is no heat in the hot tub.

We were very pleased with the home at Emerald Island. It was more than we expected. Beautifully furnished yet very comfortable. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, we were unable to use the pool area. The property owners were easy to work with and the resort employees were very friendly & helpful.
