Thanksgiving in Nags Head

My family and I stayed at the LillianB for the week of Thanksgivinig and had a wonderful time!! The house was the perfect size for the 7 of us with our dogs. The location was perfect! We took the dogs on the beach several times a day and could not have asked for a better visit! The owners were fantastic to work with as well.

Peaceful vacation

My daughter and I were looking for a peaceful beach-front property for a brief vacation in North Carolina. And we found it here. The home was clean and cozy, the beach was almost empty except for a few other after-Labor Day vacationers, and the towns folk were incredibly friendly. This is the place to stay-again and again.

This ocean front home has fantastic views of the beach from three floors! It accommodated our family of 16 very comfortably. Plenty of space for us to congregate or isolate. The kitchen was especially well equipped for large groups.The kids loved the top floor with its window benches and lookout. Would rent again in a heartbeat!

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we were so pleased with the Lillian B! They weren't kidding when they said, "on the beach-as close as you can get!" It was right there. Fabulous with the kids. No packing to play on the beach for the day. The house was a perfect balance of quaint beachy charm and all the conveniences of home. We'd go back for sure!

Lillian B is a wonderful, old timey (but completely updated) version of the cottages my family and I would rent for our summer vacations to the Outer Banks. And the fact that it is pet-friendly makes it even better. Gloria and Butch, my two contacts for this rental, could not have been more helpful. Phone calls and emails were returned promptly and politely while making our plans. It's proximity to the ocean is second to none. The high water mark was only feet from our back porch. The decor is classic Outer Banks, complete with photos of the cottage before renovation and there is even a picture from 1938 of Lillian B. Stone herself. A real treat! I'm hoping that some day soon my wife and I will stay again at Lillian B for a while longer than we were able to this time. This cottage is where anyone who wants to experience an old fashioned Outer Banks vacation will stay! Thanks for our stay at Lillian B. It was perfect and we can't wait to get back.

Perfect Location

You always wonder when you see a house on-line but this is the perfect casual house and great beach location. It has an outside shower and toilet so it makes being on the beach convenient especially with kids. The house was very comfortable and loved how it was decorated. Pet friendly too! Owners are great people! I hope we get back again next year and Irene's sister won't show up so we can stay the entire week! Ugh...

The Lillian b is a perfect vacation, beach home. It is exactly what I wanted and looks just like it does in all the pictures. Stayed there for our 25th anniversary, loved the beach, it is right on the ocean, saw dolphins and sunrises..hope to bring my family back. It is also in a great locatioan, you can walk to some resturants and grocery stores are close too..I love the Lillanb ..it is the best!!!

It was a great experience. We took the dogs, our family and had an excellent time. The property was perfect. Right on the water watching the dolphin sunrises and sunsets were amazing and all from the back deck! I would recommend it to everyone.

I would suggest the Lilian B to anyone. It is so cute, cozy and comfortable and right on the beach!! It was so nice at night with the windows open listening to the waves and the hotub was awesome. We had a wonderful girls weekend and will definitely try to rent the Lilian B again. Thank you to the owners for providing us with such a wonderful vacation.

Everything was wonderful.. It was clean, had everything we needed. The owner called to see if everything was ok.....loved it. Computer room outdated....Just have wireless internet and let people bring their own. Barbeque needs revisited...
