Description of the Kohala Coast vacation townhouse rental
Quiet, relaxing home for families or small groups.
Our Mauna Lani home is ideal for families with children. There is plenty of space and beds for up 6 people, but more importantly, we picked the location and resort that caters best to kids, real kids and the young at heart! There are numerous small, quiet beaches sheltered from the wind between the Mauna Lani beaches and the Fairmont Orchid Beaches. Towels, Food, and Drinks as well as rest rooms and fresh water showers are available at the beaches and make your time in the sun, sand and surf more enjoyable. If you want to pack your own goodies to the beach we have multiple sizes of coolers and you're welcome to take these to the beach and poolside. The variety of small bays and open water allow for variety for all ages. Some of the beaches are well protected from any kind of surf and are excellent for even small toddlers and babies. Other spots along the resort's oceanfront offer boogie boarding waves and excellent snorkeling.
Eat dinner with your feet in the sand at the while your children watch the turtles sun themselves on the beach nearby or let the kiddos run and play in the palm tree grove while you sit, relax, and enjoy an appetizer. Kids are welcome and it is an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere that is only a short walk from your Fairway Villa at the Mauna Lani Resort.
We picked the best resort, with the best beaches, and a prime location
within that resort, to make the Island Dreams Villa an ideal vacation
rental getaway. The only problem is... you won't want to leave!
Relax in the Luana Lounge out on the second story terrace at the Fairmont Orchid and get taken back to a bygone era where you feel like Earnest Hemingway or Humphrey Bogart may come and sit next to you as you watch the sunset over the swaying palms. Feel the island breezes and sip a Mai Tai or Pina Colada and play some pool or other game from the game menu offered gratis from your server.
The service is impeccable at the Fairmont Orchid and Mauna Lani and one always feels like a cherished friend.

vacations, and this one is definitely one of the best.
The quiet locations was wonderful- a feature that is
extremely important to me. A rental home is so
much more relaxing than a hotel room. Although
we ate dinner out almost every night, having a meal
on your own is also a great option. The home itself
was incredibly clean and well organized. The
binder was a dream resource. Even though I have
been to the Big Island twice before, I found the
suggestions very helpful, especially for snorkelling.
The Big Island has so much to offer. We too spent a
day on the Hilo side. After all of our hiking &
snorkelling, we thoroughly enjoyed getting one of
those cabanas at the Fairmont Orchid for our last
day. Well worth the money for such a plush setup.
