Description of the Koloa vacation home rental

This 2 house compound can rented as a 4, 6, or 8 bedrooms configuration at a weekly rate of $2500/4, $3500/6, $4500/8. A GREAT location in Koloa/Lawai, Kauai & a very private setting. It is surrounded by the natural beauty of the Garden Island of Kauai. Fruit trees (Papaya, Avacado, Coconut, etc.) and flowers (Birds of Paradise, Hibiscus, Halyconia, etc.) are abundant. The beautifully furnished house(s) are open and comfortable for family reunions or wedding groups. Furnishings include multiple TVs, VCRs, DVD players, a Baby Grand Piano, modern kitchen appliances, Barbeque Grill, and much more. The private, NEW large pool area is great for relaxing in the sun, outdoor entertaining, and is very popular with kids. There is also a Ping Pong table in the garage. The 4 bedroom/2 bath house next door, Chateau Relaxo II, is perfect for a additional group/family members. Daily maid service, cooking/catering, and other services can be arranged by request. Prior to making this property available for vacation rentals it was our full-time family residence and is, therefore, fully furnished.

Area Information

The Koloa/Poipu Side of Kauai is the best place to be for year-round weather! Koloa/Poipu is close enough to Lihue (15 Minutes) for large groups that have to make airport runs to pick people up and to go into Lihue for reasonble priced grocery shoping (Wal-mart, Kmart, Costco, etc.) The Princeville/Hanaleu area is beautiful and we spend many days there during the summer but it is pretty wet the rest of the year.

Other Fees: Cleaning Fee - $250 CR & $200 CR II & $500 if renting both houses. We have to bring a larger cleaning team when both houses are rented to make sure both houses are ready for the next guests.

Poipu Beach, Spouting Horn, 2 Golf Courses (Poipu Bay Golf Course - Past Home of the PGA Grand Slam, and the Kiahuna Golf Course), Koloa Town. The Poipu Grand Hyatt & the Poipu Sheraton are just 5 minutes away. And the better restaurants (Beach House, Roys, Plantation Gardens, etc) are also close.

The timing of the availability was perfect. Arrangements were handled professionally. Property was very well maintained, clean, inviting. The property name (Chateau Relaxo) is exactly what we experienced...a relaxing time and a fun-filled adventure. We had a church retreat the beginning of the week from Saturday to Sunday evening, and the Youth program from Thursday evening to Saturday morning. Between the end of the church retreat to the beginning of the youth program, those who came to the church retreat invited their friends over for dinner to share what they experienced. Everyone who stayed, and those who visited, had so much fun. The experience truly was a blessing!

the house was everything we expected and the land scape was beautiful but there are some electrical problems in the master bedroom but we really enjoyed our stay and would recomend and use it again ourselves

Well, we all left Kauai with heavy hearts, so I guess the vacation was a huge success! We absolutely loved the houses. Everyone was very comfortable, and it was great to have Buddy Hale so close by. The kitchen was perfect, the family room, all of it. You are very lucky people!!!!!

Gary, We had a great time in Kauai. We loved the restaurant you suggested. The only problem was we didn't have enough time to enjoy the house. It seemed we were off somewhere most of the time. One good thing, I never had to use the stove or dishwasher. We couldn't find the taco truck place. Went to Roy's and to Lawai Restaurant. Also had the special at Hamura's Saimin Stand and made it to Hyatt Hotel Breakfast Buffet for Easter. Went to Princeville for the day and drive up the Wauimai Canyon and took the helicopter and boat ride. Snorkel, scuba, hike, luau, several beaches(some busy and some with only a few people on them), and shopped until we dropped. Went to see several sunsets but never saw the green flash. Loved the beach at the end of the road on the west side. The sand was like velvet. Went to the end of all the main roads on the island. The one thing I wanted to do, that I didn't have time for was shot the rooster or roosters. The one good thing he/they got us up and going every morning. We didn't waste much time.
