The beautiful harbour town of Kyrenia with its imposing castle and pretty bars/restaurants is only 15 minutes away.
It is primarily for those seeking a relaxed, uncommercialised style holiday although there is plenty of live entertainment in most of the bars and restaurants during the summer season and a lively nightlife down at the open air beach discos for the young at heart.
There are many sightseeing attractions nearby, such as the ruins in Salamis, the magical Bellapais Abbey, St Hilarion Castle, to name a few. Visit, also, the many nearby unspoilt deserted beaches, where turtles nest and wild donkeys roam.
