Quoyle's House is a beautiful 100 year old traditional Newfoundland house that has been restored by E. Annie Proulx(writer of "The Shipping News" and "Brokeback mountain",it is situated at the ocean front. This incredible coastal retreat, just minutes from the UNESCO World Heritage Viking Site. Be inspired by its breathtaking views and peaceful setting. Take a stroll, launch your kayak or have a fire on the beach. A wonderful contrast to your everyday routine; relax, breathe the fresh air, wander the hills,beaches and meadows, watch the sunrise, explore where the first Europeans landed. "For a moment I thought time had stopped"
Have a bath in the double Jacuzzi tub or watch TV on the flat screen. We also have high speed internet access and laundry facilities. Dine at the famous Norseman Restaurant in L'Anse aux Meadows only 7kms away.
We also have "Wavey's" house located in the same cove.
Wavey's House is a lovely 60 year old traditional Newfoundland box style house that has been restored by E. Annie Proulx,it is situated at the ocean front. It has 2 bed rooms, one bathroom,kitchen/dining/living area, French doors and patio facing the ocean. Very Cozy and Functional.

What A Welcoming Home. So Peaceful With A Moose Right At The Door The Eveniong We Arrived. Breakfast Iitems Were In The Kitchen Clean And Cozy Rooms. One Bedroom Downstairs With Awesome Huge Bathroom. The Views Were Unbelieveable. It Was So Hard To Leave This Old Home But We Took So Many Beautiful Memories Of A Victory Trip From Four Different Cancers With My Son And Granddaughter. I Was So Blessed To Have This Time Of Peace And Laughing In This Amazing Home. I Could Feel The Presence Of The Past . The Sun Sets, The Fog Rolling In To Our Mornings. Hot Chochlate By The Fire, The Little Deck Out A Path Where You Could Leave Your Worries And Relax In The Beauty Of This Spot. We Closed The Door And Hope That Some Of Our Happiness And Beautiful Memories Will Welcome The Next Guest To This Serene Home.
