Nearest International Airport is Laguna del Sauce, (Ramon Curbelo). Transfer included with rental up to 4 person (Mercedes Benz car).
Arriving to La Barra, only 7 km from Punta del Este and 17 km from Jose Ignacio Village. Drive back and forth over the W-shaped bridge, just for fun. The bridge is only a few minutes from Punta del Este. It is one of the remarkable feats of engineer Leonel Viera. Blocks from the River Maldonado and Atlantic Ocean with pristine beaches. This resort town has beautiful beaches and a mild climate. Summer temps are in the high 70's(25-32C) and the winters are never below freezing. The beaches are clean white sand and the water is very pretty.
Different beaches, calm, with waves, ground or very soft sand.
The place is well known as jet setters point of meeting.
The period from December 15th to January 15th you will find crowded places, Restaurants, in the best ones you will need to have reservations done. The cottage is surrounded by other residential properties. But only blocks from Money Exchange store, Fashion Restaurants, stores, nightlife, etc
