Villa Del Mar Caribe is our vacation villa on the North Coast of Honduras. Our villa is on one acre of private beach property with 83 ft. of beach front in secluded and exclusive Mango Playa area. This is the perfect getaway to relax, unwind and rejuvenate.
A great place for your family vacation or a romantic getaway, you can rent this lovely villa that affords a bit of luxury for less than the price of a room in a nice hotel.
We love our private beach getaway and we know you will too. We have recently added a 12 ft. round palm leaf covered palapa on the beach for shade and your enjoyment.

Area Information
We are about 20 minutes from the busy and friendly city of La Ceiba where you will find modern supermarkets, shopping, restaurants, nightlife and more. We are near
There is so much to do in Honduras, from snorkeling and diving along the world's second largest coral reef surrounded by the Bay Islands (Islas de Bahia)and the Cayos Cochinos to mountain biking in the rain forest or whitewater rafting. The Cayos Cochinos are about 25 minutes from us by boat and the other Bay Islands are about 40 miles out. There are numerous companies that offer boat trips out to the islands for diving or snorkeling tours.
You will also find river rafting on the Rio Cangrejal about 15 - 30 minutes from our spot on the beach. There are also canopy tours, hot springs, hiking, biking in the cloud forest up the road in the Rio Cangrejal.
There are restaurants and many activities close by and several within walking distance on the beach. A few blocks down the beach is the native Garifuna fishing village of Sambo Creek. We are just steps up the beach away from the highly acclaimed, (reviews on Tripadvisor), Paradise Found. It is one of the best places in Ceiba for a great dinner and conversation. Helen’s is also within waliking distance and is a relaxed beach front hotel with a small restaurant open to public, along with their swimming pool.
There are produce markets everywhere selling all the fresh produce that Honduras has to offer. There is a bounty of fresh fruits, bananas, oranges, mangoes, limes, lemons and pineapples just to name a few, fresh vegetables and fresh coffee from the local coffee plantations.... Our villa is fully equipped for fixing a simple or gourmet meal. It is truly a paradise to experience in so many ways.
The Hondurans have a relaxed pace of life that you will find very inviting and enjoyable. We invite you to come and visit this beautiful country and stay with us while you are there. Our property manager will meet you at the villa with the keys (you will need to provide your own transportation, rental cars or taxi are available at the airport). We provide a local cell phone for local calls during your stay. We have Wifi for Internet.

Our property has several fruit trees which bear fruits at different times of year, these include mango, avocado, nancy, banana, coco plums. We also have an abundance of fireflys and a few iguanas that live on this acre by the sea. The property gives you a true sense of Honduran lifestyle. If you want a beautiful and comfortable place to stay and truly expereince the beauty of Honduras our villa is a good place to be.
Beautiful warm, calm and shallow waters provide the perfect swimming and playing beach for all ages. Wide soft sand beaches are great for jogging or walking and sightseeing. There are zipline canopy tours and amazing hot springs within walking distance. Diving and snorkeling at the beautiful Cayos Cochinos are about a 25 minute boat ride fron our beach. They are two larger islands and 11 smaller coral cays, all part of the second largest coral reef in the world. Beatiful Property Inside and Out

We stayed at this villa just a few weeks ago, and we've been missing it ever since. There's nothing like resting under the shade of your private palapa, heading out to the ocean to take a swim, and turning around and looking up at the rainforest covered mountains framing the whole place. And all with the amenities of home. Amazing hot springs and restaurants within a beach walk. Absolutely gorgeous!

Villa Del Mar Caribe is a wonderful place to stay in the La Ceiba area. What a peaceful place with all the beauty of the Sea and Mountains at your doorstep. There are many things to do in the area, all close by. We highly recommend and will definately be back.

One week was not enough to enjoy the natural beauty of Honduras and its friendly people. Also, having the house equipped with all the essentials of home was a pleasure.
