Description of the La Crosse vacation cabin rental
cabin on the lakefront. Fully furnished kitchen, shower in the bathroom, AC,TV,firepit,dock for fishing,screened fish cleaning. Clean and well maintained furnishings. No linens are provided. Beautiful views of Minnesota bluffs across 4 mile expansive Lake Onalaska. Quiet location away from the city yet close to many activites in the La Crosse, Onalaska, Holmen areas.Located 10 minutes from North La Crosse. Near Great River Bike Trail.

You must bring your own linens for bed, bath and kitchen.

If you enjoy nature, you will enjoy this vacation spot.

Area Info
Lake Onalaska is known for great fishing. There is a boat rental 1 mile from us on the lake. We enjoy sunsets from our shore and numerous wildlife and bird watching opportunities.

We are close to access for the Great River State Bike Trail.

We are located about half way between Minneapolis and Madison/Milwaukee areas.

NICE Lakefront Getaway.

This is a nice , quiet , Lake Onalaska Lakefront getaway. ! It is a Clean , Well Maintained Cabin with a narrow but great Lakefront facing screened in front porch. Bring your Mosquito Repellant for sure , as they come at you by the Hundreds after dark. The Lake Weeds and Algae there are very thick and ruin the 200 feet Closest to the Shore.... Swimming is not possible there... IMO. ... The Lakefront Property Owners all along there should join together to pay a Weed Harvester to clean it out at least Once per Summer. !! Gary , The Properties Owner explains things well , is a very helpful , friendly GREAT GUY. An Older Property , from the 1940's or the 1950.'s , and NICE and well maintained with UPdates like Low-E Insulated glass energy-efficient windows and front entrance door. VERY Nice Hiking ; Biking ; Snowmobile State Trail is 1.5 miles from this Cabin location. VERY Nice Red Pines Restaurant / Bar and Grill with a beautiful outside deck and a campfire ring is located 1 mile away. ! --- Had a GREAT Fish Fry there on Friday PM. Relaxed and now Refreshed , Dave H.
