Description of the La Mision vacation b&b rental
This cliff side Oceanfront Hacienda Bed & Breakfast is located 15 minutes South of Rosarito, Baja CA, Mexico and 20 minutes north of Ensenada in the quaint town of La Mision. Fly into SAN DIEGO Airport and travel 40-50 minutes across the border to enjoy the unique Flavor of Mexico. Enjoy the romance, oceanfront and luxury at this charming B&B, one couple at a time.
This is an Ocean Front Hacienda-syle villa with beautiful white water panoramic views. The B & B suite has Direct TV, large tiled private bath with Jacuzzi tub and glass block shower. All linens are supplied, including beach towels. A private hot tub is outside also in on the lower patio area, designed to appreciate the breath-takingly beautiful sunsets over the Pacific. A large pool and heated jacuzzi are just steps away in the park-like common area.
You will wake up to the most beautiful view you have ever seen. Price is currently reduced to $120 per night(Fri & Sat Night) or for three days, either Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at $320, or Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights at $320. You can watch Direct TV and dvds in the privacy of your own room. High speed wireless internet is also available to keep in touch, as well as a telephone service that connects free to the USA.
This Hacienda has the unique charm of old Mexico, filled with antiques and original paintings, but it also has all the modern conveniences for a thoroughly fantastic experience. Our house water is all purified through a very modern system.
A large breakfast is served daily at your prespecified time. You can choose from the menu to meet your appetite. Breakfast is served on any one of our 3 patiosoverlooking the crashing waves, or in the main dining room, also overlooking the Pacific. The middle patio overlooking the ocean has a gas grill and the lower one has a firepit for chilly nights. Your private suite also has a room-sized heater, just in case the nights are chilly. The queen-sized bed has a mattress warmer as well.
There are several world class restaurants nearby: in La Mision just minutes away: Large burritos are only $4.50 each, La Fonda has a magnificent Sunday brunch, La Palapa De Jose (dining & dancing); La Mision Restaurant, Chef Johnny's Medio Camino Half Way House Bar and restaurant caters to his customers to provide excellent cuisine at reasonable prices, and a new literally wave-front small restaurant, Splash, features fresh seafood. The Palm Restaurant has recently reopened in nearby Cantamar.
Check out the pictures and imagine sipping your cocktail at the sunset bench, watching the crashing waves. Resident dolphins can be seen playing in the surf below. Truly amazing sunsets every day; dark starry nights and if you stay up late you can also catch the moon setting over the ocean and mirrored on the water.
This B & B is in a residential community with 24 Hr. Police Security. Wrap up in the Mexican blankets provided and gaze at the stars and crashing waves below. This is a romantic setting you will never forget.

Area Description
My husband and I are opening our home to folks who enjoy a quiet, serene get-away. We are retired English Professors who have left the busy, noisy life in CA to enjoy the natural beauty and harmony of Baja Californis. We also have many books that you can read while you are staying with us. We are located about 10 min. South of Rosarito and 20 min. North of Ensenada on a cliff overlooking the Pacific. Temperatures range from 80 to 65 year round. Golfing is available at beautiful BajaMar only 8 minutes away. Deep sea fishing is available in Ensenada. Traveling to our abode is very simple: take the toll road from Tijuana to our exit...Safe and quick.
