Description of the Lago Vista vacation condo rental
GORGEOUS LAKEVIEWS FROM PRIVATE BALCONY...Enjoy all the ammenities at the "Island On Lake Travis" two outdoor swimming pools and jacuzzis overlooking Lake, brand new indoor swimming pool,Gym and Full Service Spa with luxurious womens and mens locker rooms. There are also Tennis Courts, a Private Marina with rentable boat slips and boat rentals nearby. The Resort is surrounded by golfcourses. Recently we have just opened up our new additions, Brizos our private fine dining Restaurant, and Brizos Bar & Grille, and also the Banquet Room great for wedding receptions to make this a complete full scale resort. This condo is a one bed one large bath with jacuzzi spa tub and separate shower also private balcony off the bedroom with the best panoramic views of Lake Travis on the Island. We have just recently updated the condo with brand new Gorgeous Dark Walnut hand scraped hardwood floors throughout and travertine in the bathroom, kitchen, and entry way. There are many outdoorsy things to do near by, hiking, boating,jetskiing,wakeboarding,waterskiing,fishing, swimming,golfing and Downtown Austin is just 35 min's away also the closest major city is Cedar Park & Leander which is only 15-20 min's away. The town of Lago Vista is a quaint small town we have everything you would need a local supermarket,cvs pharmacy,Movie store, several great restaurants, Dominos Pizza that delivers to the Island, and also a Sonic Burger Drive Inn. Our high season(March-November) rates are $149/nt on weekends $99 a night on weekdays and our weekly rates are $499-$600...Also month to month rentals available on off season and lower Winter rates...Inquire about last minute booking specials...

Perfect Weekend

We enjoyed our styay at the condo and the amenities. The Bar and Grill had music both evenings and there was music at the pool both days as well. Could have used a few more lounges at the pool as they fill up fast and get "saved" from about 8:30am by people placing towels on them. We would stay here again, it was very convenient to the elevators and right next door to the bar and grill.

Great time on the Island

Spend New Years Eve and Day at this condo. The accomodatations were great. The only negative thing was the access code for the facility gate. The combination apparently changed from my registration date to the date of my vacation weekend. Otherwise than that, the condo rental was a great experience.

The condo was great. A perfect location for anyone wanting to enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Travis. Even with the water so low the lake was outstanding. The condo is perfectly comfortable and the complex is like nothing you will find anywhere else. The staff and amenities are top notch.

Everything in th condo was so well done and attractive and comfortable. We so enjoyed the peace and quiet and lovely views! I just regret that I had injured my leg and could not take advantage of the pools and spas. The restaurant was very nice and the food excellent.

Our vacation time at the "island"

We had a great vacation time at the "island". I loved waking up in the morning and going to work out in the fitness center, then being at the pool floating all day. The place is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. But in my opinion, there should be a little more to do. For example, they should have a nice gameroom for kids of all ages with ping pong tables, etc. They should make something like movie nights at the pool or somewhere. I tried to rent a ski boat or a waverunner and the marina was always booked. My teenager son had pretty much nothing to do. We still had a very good time as a family and had our own movie nights at the condo and spent lots of time together which was great!

A Lot of Sunshine

We had one of the best Spring-time vacations in Texas this year. Part of that is because we had very nice weather but the other part is the outstanding location of this condo. It is about 40 minutes from Austin. Close enough but far enough away that it seems to be in the country. The outdoor pools were very nice, each with a hottub. the indoor lap pool was outstanding, also with a hot tub. The fitness center was co-located in the area with this pool. There was a sauna as well. I am a fitness buff as is my daughter and we thoroughly enjoyed all of these activities. Another bonus is the hills surrounding the "Island". We had wonderful morning walks around the area each morning. Rain was forecasted for Friday. After it rained, the clouds cleared up for the rest of the day. So, we had 7 days of sunshine. The room faced the West so we could watch the glorious sunsets each evening. We will return. This condo was reasonably priced for what we received. On a side note, my wife and I both purchased some new cowboy boots while we were in Austin. We got some great deals and we needed them for dancing. The Austin area is an ideal location for a springtime vacation. And, this unit is superb.

If you are looking for a quiet get away for you and your family - this is it! Wonderful views from the balcony. Unfortunetely we were not able to go out on the lake but can't wait to come back when we can. We did not want a hustle and bustle vacation this year and found this place and loved it!

My husband daughter and I just returned after 2 weeks in unit 2117. We had a great time in it's beautiful pools and relaxed atmosphere. It was a pity that the lake was so low, but it didn't effect our fun. We had a chance to explore a great deal of Texas from our "home" location and if opportunity arises we will truly consider staying there again.
