Lake Travis is located 30 minutes north of Austin. It is 63 miles long, covering an area of almost 20,000 acres with 270 miles of shoreline. Lake Travis abounds with water recreation. It is truly a gem among Texas Lakes. With it's crystal clear aquamarine water, Lake Travis naturally attracts water sport enthusiasts. The annual average temperature is 70 degrees.

Imagine having your next vacation on a private island!!! ‘The Island on Lake Travis’ is a gated and completely secure luxury resort that is located on a 14 acre island right in the middle of Lake Travis. The property is lushly landscaped and features 2 outdoor pools with hot spas. There are two beautiful tennis courts on the edge of the Island overlooking the lake. Reserved underground parking is available for two cars. In addition there is a boat launch on the property. A beautiful indoor club-house featuring exercise equipment, pool tables and an indoor poolrestaurant is currently undergoing renovations. The Island is reached via a private access road on the north shore of Lake Travis in the tonw of Lago Vista.

You will be staying in a 1400 square feet, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment furnished with contemporary and modern European furniture. The master bedroom has a king size bed and dresser. The master bathroom features a walk-in closet, double vanity and a Jacuzzi spa. The guest bed-room features a queen bed and dresser with an adjacent bathroom. The living room features two large and comfy futon sofas that can be used as extra beds. The dining table has room for 6 people. There is a large kitchen featuring a dishwasher, range and microwave. Dinnerware, utensils, sheets and towels are provided for your convenience. Local phone calls are free. Ample closet space and storage is available.

Sit in the balcony and enjoy great views of the lake. Or go swimming, kayaking, snorkeling or boating on the lake. Take a walk in the beautifully landscaped grounds or enjoy a relaxing game of tennis on the water-front if you like. Watch a movie, read a book or just relax with a drink in the comfortable patio furniture at sunset.

The Island is a 14-acre paradise surrounded by 63 miles of the sparkling blue waters of Lake Travis. Fishing, boating and watersports abound. You are not just surrounded by the lake, you are surrounded by fun. All around you there's smooth water, secluded coves, green hills, picturesque cliffs and inviting shorelines.
