Description of the Lago Vista vacation villa rental
This is the largest 1/1 facing the lake, other 1/1s are shaped like a trailer and have galley kitchens and small bathrooms. THIS ONE STANDS OUT much larger and spacious. There also is a romantic fireplace in the living room.
The Island on Lake Travis is a 14 acre luxurious private island resort boasting gorgeous lake views, pristine landscaping, perfect weather, and two outdoor swimming pools, marina, fishing pier, tennis courts and outdoor BBQ area with gas grills.NOW OPEN BAR AND BILLIARDS ROOM, SPA, FITNESS CENTER AND INDOOR POOL!!!!
There is patio seating for 4 that faces the lake and 2 lounge chairs on the side that faces the pool. This condo can accomodate four and has fantastic full lake and South pool views. Enjoy romantic evenings by the fireplace, while still seeing the lake off your balcony. Dine on the patio or lounge while watching the sunsets in the summer.

Wonderful Place to Get Away to!

My husband and I along with another couple stayed at The Island for a week. We appreciated the beauty of the setting and the quietness of our surroundings. It was a wonderful place to rest and relax. The condo was very clean and tastefully decorated. We appreciated being able to cook if we wanted to and took every opportunity we could to enjoy the warm weather by eating out on the patio. We used the grill on the grounds on multiple occasions during our stay. We're looking forward to returning on another vacation!

Relaxing Vacation

The condo we stayed in was a great choice for us (4 adults). There was plenty of room, so no one felt cramped. The view from our balcony was terrific. I never expected to see many deer! It was great to have shade structures poolside as two of us are pretty fair. There were plenty of chairs, loungers, and tables. Our condo even had the required plastic cups to take to the pool. Having a full kitchen is a great option for vacation. I had no problems cooking since it was fully stocked. We also enjoyed many of the local restaurants: Bam's, True Grits, La Tapatia, and Surf and Turf. I highly recommend The Island on Lake Travis in Lago Vista.

I just want to thank you again for helping to make the occasion of my daughter's wedding so memorable.
Your condo is spectacular! The photos don't begin to do it justice. As you know, my mother and sisters also stayed in a villa at The Island. It's essentially the same floor plan as your's, and is very nice. But furnishings and accessories make a world of difference, and it's nowhere near so beautifully appointed. You have a wonderful eye for design and have done a terrific job with the place. The champagne basket was a really nice touch and made us feel personally welcome. (I'm sorry we didn't actually get to drink the champagne. The rehearsal dinner was Friday night and the wedding Saturday night, and we don't usually drink in the morning. But it was no less appreciated.)
The only suggestion I would have is that it would be nice to have an ironing board and a toaster. Please don't think of this as a complaint, because it certainly is not--just a suggestion, because I can tell that you want everything to be as perfect as possible.
Once again, thank you for being so gracious and accomodating. I am certainly looking forward to visiting Austin and "The Island" again.
