Great vacation getaway! Fantastic water views and dining off of 300 sq/ft balconies. Eleganty furnished with decorator touches throughout. Treat yourself like a star, party, relax and unwind! The Island on Lake Travis is a 14 acre luxurious private island resort boasting gorgeous lake views, pristine landscaping, perfect weather, and two swimming pools, marina, fishing pier, tennis courts and outdoor BBQ area with gas grills.

This 2bed/2bath condo (Sleeps 6) has a queen bed in both bedrooms and a pull out full size sleeper in the living room. The masterbath has a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Enjoy outside dining on the Smith Hawken dining table that seats six. The balcony has water and hillcountry views. Nature comes to you as deer congregate below the balcony around dusk.

The 1/1 sleeps four and has fantastic full lake and South pool views. Enjoy romantic evenings by the fireplace, while still seeing the lake off your balcony. Dine on the patio or lounge while watching the sunsets in the summer.

The Island is a gated community surrounded by Lake Travis, conveniently close to Shades restaurant by boat and Briarcliff Marina. Lake Travis has over 250 miles of gorgeous shorleline offering unlimited recreation. On site marina and boat ramp provide easy access to boating/jet sking and sailing. The property itself is a Mediteranean Resort with two outdoor pools and hot tubs, wifi connections, billiards room and fitness center.

The condo we stayed in was a great choice for us (4 adults). There was plenty of room, so no one felt cramped. The view from our balcony was terrific. I never expected to see many deer! It was great to have shade structures poolside as two of us are pretty fair. There were plenty of chairs, loungers, and tables. Our condo even had the required plastic cups to take to the pool. Having a full kitchen is a great option for vacation. I had no problems cooking since it was fully stocked. We also enjoyed many of the local restaurants: Bam's, True Grits, La Tapatia, and Surf and Turf. I highly recommend The Island on Lake Travis in Lago Vista.
