The Island on Lake Travis is a resort setting on Lake Travis. This is a waterfront community with three swimming pools, one pool indoors, on site restaurant and club, health spa, work out room, billards room, tennis courts and picnic and grill area.
Your Villa will be a 1400 sqft newly remodeled 2bed/2bath condo with a private balcony that overlooks one of two swimming pools with panoramic lake and hill country views. There are granite countertops, tiled floors, and stainless steel appliances throughout. This is the perfect place for a vacation getaway or a fun-filled weekend with friends and family!

Enjoy Lake Travis as it winds its way through the Austin Hill country with over 250 miles of gorgeous shoreline offering unlimited recreation. Water sports enthusiasts can take advantage of the easy access to boating/jet-sking, diving and fishing while others can relax at the resort style pools amidst the peaceful atmosphere that The Island has to offer. Play tennis right on the lake or golf at one of the three near by courses within minutes of the resort.

Unfortunately we were evacuated the first 1 hour of arriving due to rising lake water. The condo and location were awesome though and we are looking forward to returning next summer.

Hi Rick, The weekend was wonderful. Our family is spread out all across the country and we don't get many opportunities to all be together, so it was really special. My mother had no trouble getting into and out of the shower, and everyone loved the view over the pool and the lake beyond. The beds are comfortable, the blankets warm and the other furnishings very nice. The only suggestion I would make is that it would be nice to have an iron and ironing board. After travelling, clothes can use a little touch-up pressing. Once again, thank you both for being so gracious and accomodating. I am certainly looking forward to visiting Austin and "The Island" again. --Jerry
