Description of the Laguna Beach vacation home rental

Our 1930's character beach cottage sits in a very private setting located in the village area of Laguna beach 3-4 short blocks from the beach on a dead end street.
Front steps lead to a nice front courtyard brick patio and the rear is a tropical oasis with a large secluded sun deck with ocean views. Living room and den have wood floors and open beam ceilings w/skylights. Comfortable and cozy den includes 42" LCD TV /DVD/cable w/surround sound and french doors opening to BBQ area and lush landscaping. The master bedroom has a queen bed, tv and dvd player. The second bedroom has a full bed. Kitchen is brand new and 3/4 bathroom up-dated. The home is about 1100 total sq. ft. on a lushly landscaped lot with a wood deck with a beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets..
Updated, with lots of character and charm, our seaside cottage is quiet, sun-filled, close to everything and guaranteed to be a memorable summer beach experience you will want to return to, or never leave!
We also have surfboards,skin diving gear and other beach supplies you may need or want to use.
During the 4th of July, there is a fireworks show on Main beach. If it's clear, we get a great veiw of the fireworks show from the comfort of our deck.

Our town is filled with restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and festivals etc. The house sits on a gentle hillside amongst many trees on a quiet dead end street. It's an all homeowner occupied, friendly nieghborhood. Besides the beach, it is walking distance from tennis courts, swimming pool, parks, running track and hiking/biking trails. You could conceivably not need a car since we are 3 blocks from the village but within a few miles are numerous other beaches, parks, coves, hiking, biking, world-class shopping, art galleries, scuba diving etc. After all, it's So. Calif., we have everything ( Disneyland, San Diego Park, Sea World, Universal Studios, Legoland ,Knott's etc..)within an hour or two....We can usually get discount tickets for most of the amusement parks. We can set that up before our exchange. There is also a village tram that will take you anywhere in Laguna beach. In the summer we have the Sawdust Art Festival, Art A Fair and Pagent of the Masters within walking distance along with the Laguna Playhouse. During the winter we have the winterfest art fair. The town is empty once summer is over and it's our favorite time of year. We don't get much rain and it stays about 57-65 degrees all winter.

Dana Point and Newport Beach are within 5 miles of the house. You can rent boats, scuba gear, deep sea fishing, surfboards or anything else you may enjoy out on the water. We do provide snorkeling and beach gear.
The house is 1 story but there are stairs from the driveway to the front patio then again from the back of the house to the deck.
