Description of the Lake Allatoona vacation guesthouse rental

This charming couples cabin is the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy a romantic escape. You will find yourself surrounded by beautiful Lake Allatoona views and the relaxing sights and sounds of nature. There is a small patio for the two of you and a gas grill. A short walk down to the lake places you on a private dock. You may swim and fish from the dock or simply enjoy watching the boats go by. You will find a table and chairs and small fridge on the dock, it's the perfect spot for a picnic. You may rent a boat at a nearby marina and enjoy a day exploring the many secluded coves and hidden away waterfalls. There are numerous parks and restaurants to visit by water. If you have a small boat, you may launch it nearby and tie up overnight to the dock. Best of all, you don't have to do anything at all. Pack your bag, bring some supplies and head to Lake Allatoona for a memorable vacation or weekend escape. Sleeps Two / No Pets.

Cabin is waterfront. Rent a boat nearby or bring your own small boat and tie up to the private dock. Swimming, fishing, boating is all right here. Use our gas or charcoal grills to cook out or visit neaby restaurants at Red Top Mountain, Cartersville and Acworth, all within a 15 minute drive. Downtown ATL is within 50 minutes for anyting you may want to do and Chattanooga is within 1.5 hr. drive. Cabin is located close to I-75 and exit 285.

Vacation Spot at Lake Allatoona

The cabin was built over the top of a detached garage. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It served our purpose as a couple to get some much needed relaxation. We rented a boat for a day, just a couple of miles from this spot. If you want seclusion, this isn't it as there are a few neighbors very close together and the cabin sits right on the street. There are many steps (steep) down to the owner's dock, which she graciously will let you use at your leisure. The comfort and overall price made this a very restful week.

Much needed R&R

My husband and I were looking for a cabin to celebrate our anniversary. This was the perfect spot. Not a single detail was missed and we enjoyed ourselves the entire time. We like the fact that it only took about 30 minutes to get to downtown Atlanta. We wanted to be close, but didn't want to stay "in the city". We loved the lake. We went swimming and took a jetski from the local marina found right in the National Park. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to relax.

Wonderful Week

I spent a week at this beautiful cabin. It was so very peaceful and relaxing. It gave me the time I needed without distractions to work on my writing. Barb has done a wonderful job with making the cabin feel nice and comfortable. Very welcoming. She was an excellent hostess and a great person to spend the evening with. A romantic Birthday get-a-way

The entire weekend was magical from the moment we drove up to the beautiful house and cabin, with the lake sparkling and inviting in the background. The hostess was there to greet us in her warm and friendly way as she welcomed us into the cabin. The cabin is spotless and well equipped reflecting Deb's attention to detail. It is tastefully decorated and very romantic, right down to the bottle of wine awaiting you as you enter the cabin. Although we could make ourselves at home using the deck and grill, there are plenty of private areas where we could be alone to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine overlooking the lake. We had dinner out our first night in celebration of David's birthday in an excellent nearby restaurant. The second night we enjoyed a nighttime cruise on the lake that was breathtaking. A little bit of romance

I searched the Internet to find a nice romantic get away for my wife and I around Lake Allatoona. This cabin turned out to be a great find! The hostess was very warm and friendly. She has opened this cabin up next to her home and its well worth the trip. The area around Lake Allatoona has a lot of lake front homes, but even with all the other homes in the area, it was very quite and relaxing. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, some light snacks, and there was even some water bottles in the fridge. The cabin is just big enough to two, with a small kitchenette, just perfect for cooking a light meal. There is even a gas grill down on the deck for some outside cooking. The lake is full of great things to do and the cabin isn’t far from Red Top Mountain State Park. (A great place for hiking, fishing, and picnics) You can rent a boat, swim in the lake, or just relax on the hammock for two just outside the cabin. This cabin is extremely. The owner adds special touches, such as a bottle of wine and leaves extra linens. The scenery is more beautiful than the pictures show. The location on the lake is fantastic. Perfect for a couples excursion. I will be going back again.
