Amidst the pines and firs, lovely views of Lake Almanor and Dyer Mountain make this a destination for a relaxed vacation. Savor the view and the brisk mountain mornings on the sunny deck, and finish the day with a round of golf or a quiet cruise on the lake.
Lake Almanor Country Club is a gorgeous private gated community in the tall pines at the end of a peninsula that extends into Lake Almanor. Amenities include a 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, volleyball courts, picnic and play areas, swimming beaches, and boat launching facilities. This serene and secure setting provides a wonderful atmosphere for family recreation and vacations!
Lake Almanor is located 4500 feet elevation and has 52 miles of shoreline with spectacular views of Mount Lassen and Dyer Mountain. Summer lake surface temperatures are 75 degrees and ideal for water-skiing, sailing, sailboarding, and jet-skiing. There is year-round fishing for rainbow and
brown trout, small-mouth bass, and famous Eagle Lake trout.
Private boat slips and patio boats are available for rent at the marinas and there are 3 golf courses around the lake, including the nearby 18-hole championship PGA course at Bailey Creek. Lake Almanor is a recreation paradise without Tahoe crowds: 3-hour drive from Sacramento, 4 hours from San Francisco, 2 hours from Reno, 1�' hours east of Chico via Hwy 32.
